Doing the laundry now takes half the time and the musical jingle feature notifying when laundry is finished is a much better “command” as opposed to the terrible loud buzzing noise of other machines. Laundry has never been enjoyable until now. Truly.

I love that it weighs the clothes and between that and the settings you pick it tells you how long that cycle will be so things don't get wrinkled sitting there.

This is my dream come true as far as laundry units go! It does much much more than I had dreamed! And it's still compact enough to liberate a lot of space in my tiny laundry room. Enough space was freed to put up a folding table plus now I can actually iron in my laundry room if I need to iron anything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are now using less detergent thanks to the proper measuring compartments. And the clothes seem to smell better due to the water-detergent ratio. The normal cycle also runs less time than our previous washer so we are hoping for a less electric bill. All around this unit runs more efficiently and we are very happy with that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall great washer and dryer unit. The only challenge was in getting the dryer venting set-up properly. I started with a low profile rear vent, which gave me consistent issues with vent blockage alarms. The vent tube was a low profile sheet metal ovaled vent with 90 bends at the top and bottom. On multiple occasions, I validated a clear exhaust path with clear airflow from dryer to outdoors and ensured sealed connections throughout, only to continue receiving vent blockage alerts. I switched to a side exhaust using the side exhaust kit, and round 4” flexible tube and that immediately resolved the problem. The unit has worked flawlessly since.

Overall, I like that it is one unit with controls in the middle, which are easier for the wife to use. I also like having additional cycles available on the app and that my phone tells me when either unit is done since I'm often doing other things in the house or yard and now I don't have to worry about wrinkly clothes. The cycles are (mostly) shorter than the older LG. It cleans very well and I like the steam feature. I think the app could use some improvement. I'd like to have the ability on the app to change the spin speed, soil level and temperature. These can usually be changed once the cycle is downloaded to the machine but sometimes it seems they cannot and it is frustrating.

Aesthetically pleasing, such smart technology, very quiet, a lot packed in a small package, and the controls in the middle - absolute perfection. I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

In our last home, we enjoyed using a front load LG washer and dryer for many years. The home we moved into two years ago came with an old style top load washer and dryer with limited features. We have known that we had an option to install laundry equipment in an upstairs area by our bedrooms (roughed in to receive it), but the space would only accept a stacked installation. The problem with that was the inconvenient access to the dryer controls by my vertically challenged wife (5'). We were delighted when we discovered the LG Washtower model that places controls for both machines in the middle. We've had it installed for a couple of weeks now, and absolutely love everything about it. While our main reason for choosing the Washtower was the location of the controls, we are wowed by so many other advancements including the amazing communication between machines. We are happy to be cheerleaders for LG!
