Disappointed 40oz ThermoFlask

I was only given the cap with the straw and not the other. The prefer the other.

I have the 32 oz bottle and love it. I have taken to Alaska, around the contiguous 48 states 5 times and across Canada. I needed to replace the straw because it was making a noise and irritating my wife.  I didn't pay attention and order the 40 oz bottle. The straw is a different size but that is ok and I like the bigger size. My issue is that the nozzle is hard as a rock on the larger bottle.  I wish the nozzle was softer like the 32 oz bottle.  I am afraid I might chip a tooth.
