Got my husband this set to go with his Batman collection! He loved it! The build was just enough to keep him distracted for a couple hours but not a multi day build!

Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight comes to Lego life with this impressive play-set; featuring the Tumbler Batmobile, Aaron Eckhart's Harvey Dent, Heath Ledger's Oscar Award winning Joker, and Christian Bale as the Dark Knight himself with an articulated batsignal. The batsignal is a sticker add on and not a glow in the dark piece that was available with the economy poly-bag sets recently released, however it is quit stunning in its design and the multi axis articulation more than make up for the loss of the fan favourite gimmick. The Tumbler is substantial and weighty, well built and sturdy; you are unlikely to accidentally knock anything off of it, but it might knock someone out if you are not careful and aware of your surroundings (it is a brick on wheels after all). The interior is spacious for batman and his silicon hard cape, and while you could toss one of the other figures in their behind batman, they would not be secured or comfortable. The roof closes fine with two mini-figures inside like this. Features the newer lower profile stud shooters along the sides. I missed out on the original film release set and have regretted it; this is everything I wanted and I love how it looks. It is a great addition to any Batman or car collector. The design and build showcase latest techniques developed for speed champions series and the possibilities for creative play beyond the standard instructions will spark imaginations.

I bought this Lego Batmobile Set as a Christmas gift for my son. He is a huge fan of Lego and I hope he enjoys opening it on Christmas morning.

Lego continues to make sets smaller and more expensive claiming it's because of inflation but if that's the case then how do your profits continue to raise by 10x? It's because it's only costing the customer more not Lego they pass that burden onto us when they make billions of dollars? Like they can't afford it? Doesn't make any sense and nobody can explain it either. They just get rich and pass price increases to us while they make even more. Crazy
