They are my go-to for any baked apple recipe. They are the perfect balance of sweet flavor and refreshing tartness. Envy apples were bred by crossing the very sweet Royal Gala apple with the spicy and refreshing Braeburn apple. The result is nothing short of perfection in my opinion. Great cooking apple as well as a snacking apple. My latest batch were used for an apple crisp.

The flavor was good until, almost at the end, it started to taste like grass. The texture of the apple was crisp, but mealy. I would not recommend. I did NOT like it.

I like to eat my Envy apples with a squeeze of lemon juice and a sprinkle of cinnamon. They were juicy, sweet (not overly sweet), and crisp. These apples are definitely worth a try. All apples are not created equal. Go get some! ❤️

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super love these apples!! This is the best apple I have ever eaten. It is very different from the apples I used to eat. Its pulp texture is very firm, very fresh and juicy. I think it is very sweet and crispy, and my husband loves it very much.

They taste quite a bit like a red delicious apple, which isn't my first choice. I do believe that if you like sweeter apples, you would enjoy these! I am more of a granny smith apple type of gal, though!
