I shopped around a lot for laminate flooring for our home and the flooring at Sam's Club was far and away the best value. It's solid, thick laminate with backing already attached that makes for easy installation and a comfortable, gorgeous finished product. The price could absolutely not be beat. We are extremely pleased with our new floors.

Easy to install, looks great. This is my first real do it yourself home project. With just a little hand held rotary saw and a rubber mallet/ tapping block, it was super easy and kind of fun! There are youtube videos to show how to install and they say that you need a very level floor. I put it in my basement which is mostly level but has some slightly uneven spots. Given that it is just a basement, I did not level the floor. I was worried that the boards may separate when stepped on, but they have not. All I notice is a very minor give under my feet in the slightly lower spots. Nothing to worry about. It looks great. I love that there were numerous patterns so I could mix up the flooring. It looks really rustic. Actually looks better than the flooring I put in my bathroom that was twice as expensive. Love it and would buy this brand again.

We looked at a lot of different floorings. This was the best price and looks great. We had it professionally installed upstairs and I installed it in the basement and it is very easy to install. My parents got different flooring for 8 dollars a square foot with install, and I think ours at less than 2 dollars a square foot looks just as good or better. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for an affordable option that looks like the high end products.

We were looking at a very similar appearing hardwood laminate that was literally 4x the cost. We had looked at many different laminate brands and I truly didn't expect to wind up at Sam's Club buying our flooring, but I absolutely do not regret the purchase. Installing it is pretty straight forward, the only thing I did different than what the vendor says is that I used a small scrap piece to make a tapping block. I'd click that piece in and tap the new piece in just a bit instead of trying to push them together and press the piece flat. I also tapped across the joint and at a couple spots along each board to ensure the seam was snug. It isn't adding much time to the process, but everything is lining up really well as I am trying to line things up to make this all flow through the lower level of the house without having any breaks between rooms or the use of transition strips. I'll see what the longevity is, that is probably my only concern never having put down a laminate of this nature. The wood laminate had a relatively thick wear layer and scratches would have likely been easy to deal with. With dogs and family members that enjoy sliding furniture around, I am crossing my fingers that we don't accidentally wind up scarring this. I'm not finished yet, but we have had friends come over that are impressed with the look too and are now looking at similar options from this manufacturer.

I'm finishing my 2,200 sf basement and chose Sams Select Surfaces Driftwood Laminate flooring due to cost and thick 14mm construction. This floor goes together easily but you need to study the process before tackling the job if you are joining two or more rooms. Such a large area isn't for a beginner since attention to detail is key. It's also heavy so you need a good trailer.

Took on a project to remodel 23 year old bedroom. This laminate (Drifteood) is the highlight! Quality is dramatically better than a similar material I installed several years ago at my daughters place. Easy to cut and install. The videos on Select Surfaces site where valuable. Love the rustic look. Also, could find comparable value anywhere else.

I've had this flooring for about 1yr in three bedrooms. I've recently purchsed more, I really like it. Easy to install with padding already on the planks. Holds up great to furniture dragging, water spills, objects dropping, etc. I live with teenagers, a dog and a potbelly pig. A vacuuming and a steam mop makes this floor look brand new every time.

I am in the process of laying the flooring so I do not have any comments past that. The planks seem to be built very well. The fit is something you have to work with because it is very tight. One think I have learned is to use a piece that was cut off of one of the planks, tongue side, to snug the planks together, this will seat them firmly, much better than just working the in place. What I have laid, about 300 sf out or 1200 sf looks great.

This floor is amazingly beautiful & sooo easy to install. Just be carefull with the grooved edges. If you bump them during installation, you might end up with small pieces in grooves, which will not let the planks lock together. Other than that, I have gotten nothing but compliments from it. (I just don't tell them how easy it actually was to install)

I bought these a month ago and I’m so glad I did! Taking up carpet and padding and getting the floor prepped took longer than installing the floor. Still working on getting furniture back in place. Can’t wait til it all comes together with furniture in room. Floors are absolutely beautiful!
