This phone in a few words "Refined to a Fault"
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fold 6 is now my second foldable from Samsung to date. The Fold 5 was a great leap from my S22 Ultra and I feel that this tablet/phone form factor favors the OneUI software best. To simplify this review, I will use two terms that define this amazing piece of hardware: versatility and refinement. The latter is why I upgraded to the 6th generation. The design melds the best of foldable technology with traditional smartphone form factors. I feel there is little to no sacrifice from a Galaxy Ultra to a Fold. The multitasking, media consumption abilities along with the streamlined software experience makes this the everyday carry you don't know you need until you've experienced it. Let's focus on Fold 6 specific software. Many companies are verging towards AI, but I feel that Samsungs Galaxy AI platform is the definition of what I call "useful AI". Creative professionals and amateurs alike can draw and edit photos with pro-level tools that are intuitive and make excellent quality of life updates to your content. Samsung Notes has been my go-to app for everything in my daily life...I simply haven't found a better solution. Now with the integration of AI summarization, handwriting correction and many other excellent tools for any project, it has secured itself as my main homescreen application. In summary, the final push for the Fold 6 becoming my daily device was refinement. Increased durability features, modern design language and great performance!
Great phone and awesome screen!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brand new, so I just got this phone about 2 days ago. This is my first folding phone, so I wasn't really sure what to expect in terms of the screen. But I have to say, unless I look at it at a very certain angle, I can't even tell the screen has a hinge in the middle. I'm not sure how they do it, but really cool technology. I also love that the screen comes with a screen protector on the inside already, so you don't need to worry about that. Purchasing a case to protect the phone that also has a screen protector for the front screen is all you'll need to do. So far, my phone is really fast, fun to use, with a bright screen. Easy to read, easy to navigate, and lighter in my hand than I thought it would be. Finding a case was a bit of a challenge, simply because the phone is new I suspect. Finding a case with a built-in screen protector, a wallet on the back, and a place for the pen (which is not included, by the way, so you must buy it aftermarket if you want) was not as easy as I was hoping. I have ordered a few from various online places including samsung, and we'll see which one works best and fits nicely. Galaxy AI has been a fun addition to play with, I haven't used it much yet since I've only had it 2 days, but so far I have used it to make a fun background on the phone. I can see how this will be useful both in my personal life as well as business.
The new fold 6
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using fold series since fold 2, so far, my favorite was fold2. The reason was, fold 3 had issues on folding screen, four was ok but didn't see much difference and so does five, ( my personal opinion) but I do see much improvement on six. I like the new box desgin and ration, much easier to use front screen. Hope it's little more wider but still very good to use. Weight of the phone is so lite and feels like using bar type phone. AI function is pretty cool, I use them alot with translation for chatting with co workers and friends. Last but not least, camera, they say its same camera but actually it's much better. I am not sure if it's from chipset or if it's from screen but quality is much better and now I can take selfie from this phone. And...my opinion is you should also get galaxy watch ultra! This is awesome
Excelent display quality and Galaxy AI
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Z Fold 6 has an excelent display quality and the Galaxy AI add a new way to find and create anything. I used it for a week and I'm really satisfied with the look and feel. Speed is a must in my case and this one is fast using all kind of apps. I was surprised of the weight, almost not difference with the "classic" phones. I'm happy with it!
Almost Perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fold 6 is one of the best devices I've ever used, and it is definitely one of the most cohesive foldable experiences available. But it is not the best, and it's such a shame. The focus on galaxy AI this year was underwhelming, and it shows within the community. Everyone agrees that ai features are useful but are not generational upgrades that should be the focus of a device launch. The reason the fold 6 is able to compete with other foldable phones is software; it has the best software available on the market hands down. But If other foldable phones were available worldwide and a bit more polished with software, the fold 6 would not be selling nearly as much. If Samsung doesn't upgrade the hardware or make a higher level option available, they will certainly lose market share. I believe there should be 3 foldable released annually if Samsung wants these phones to be more mainstream. A cheap option, a standard option, and a 2k+ ultra that many would happily shell out for. Now on to the fold 6 itself, this phone is amazing from my limited use so far. Battery life can get you through a day, and the shape/size of the screens is at the perfect point. Galaxy AI makes productivity (the main use of this device) a breeze and so enjoyable. One UI is intuitive and gives you lots of control over functions and customization. The build quality is extraordinary and really shows how far this tech has come. This is the only foldable I can recommend for anyone looking to switch.
Love the Phone
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgrades my old Note 20 for the new Galaxy Fold 6. It is a game changer. Love all the features and great battery life. All the new galaxy AI features has taking my device to another notch. My daughter loves the AI drawing in the nite app. I have been been able to utilize the AI transcribe feature, which is amazing. Would definitely recommend.
Very solid upgrade form the fold 4
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a fold 6 after using a fold 4 for a couple years. I really like all the new Galaxy Ai features like circle to search. It helped me find posion Ivy in my yard!! I play some games and water alot of media on my phone so having the large screen is a plus. Battery life has improved but I wish it was a little bit better. Over all I really enjoy the phone.
Smooth, user friendly version
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had the phone for a few days but it seems very user friendly. I had the fold3 and I'm still trying to figure out all the new features. I haven't used the Galaxy AI features yet but im very Interested to try it out.
Best latest form factor and premium feel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded from a Galaxy Fold 4 and I am happy with the jump up. The lighter weight and larger front screen are enough to give a fresh experience. I find myself using both the tablet and candy bar forms of this phone more evenly compared to before. Galaxy AI is also a budding feature. Currently it has been pretty great in identifying objects I circle when browsing websites and watching videos. Haven't used audio translation yet, but looking forward to try it out when I am traveling abroad.
Amazing improvement from fold 5
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't think you could improve upon the fold 5 but here we are with yet another amazing phone from Samsung. The improvements are immediately noticable from the non rounded corners to the phone feeling lighter but someone more premium in the hand. If you are in the fence about this phone, don't worry you will not be disappointed . The Galaxy AI is fantastic.
