*great for hair that is already manageable and doesn't need anything specific. I'm unsure if it is the best product for hair with extra needs* My hair is normal in terms of oily/dry. It is straight and easy to manage. This is the best shampoo I've found so far. It doesn't make my hair feel dry after I use it. I use it with Liquid Pearl conditioner and finish off with Liquid Pearl luminescent serum. It also smells amazing. The bottle makes it look glittery but it isn't actually glittery. I shower in the morning and It makes my hair feel clean all day. The combination of their products definitely increases shine for my hair!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo has an amazing lather to it! You dont need much and it gets thick enough to wash your whole head. It smells absolutely amazing! It makes my hair incredibly shiny which I love. So glad I found this, its my new OGX fave.

However, as a cosmetologist I was already skeptical going in for a product sold at drug stores. I was pleasantly surprised tho. The conditioner smells really good and it made my hair feel really smooth to the touch when it was wet and being rinsed. If youre on a budget and looking for a good conditioner to pick up at your local drug store I would definitely give OGX a try. I have heard mixed reviews all around about the brand, but I would give it a try... it may be perfect for you and the good news is... if it isnt you havent spent an arm and a leg on a conditioner you hate (which I have done with professional products as well).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this as part of a voxbox. I can honestly say I was not looking forward to trying this shampoo after not enjoying the serum at all. Put simply. I did not enjoy the shampoo either. I feel like the whole line is pretty gimmicky in what it is trying to achieve - my hair does not look shiny or silky or "like a mermaid" whatsoever. I enjoyed the way it felt and applied in the shower - the scent is great, it built up a soft fluffy lather very quickly and washed out to feel smooth and soft. 90% of the time I let my hair air dry, and I don't often dry my hair with a blowdryer, so this is based off of letting my hair air dry as usual. My hair feels dry and sad. My bleached and coloured ends look frizzier than they usually do, and the ends almost feel crunchy? They have never really felt this way, despite the bleaching. My uncoloured hair does feel soft but the way it looks overall is a drastic contrast - just dry and frizzy and not great. I'm not sure if I understand what the purpose of this line is. I definitely won't repurchase any of the items.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love this shampoo because I loved the concept behind it. Its very fun, but I was not a fan at all. My hair is thick, and most of the time its dry so I need a product that will give it some moisture and this did nothing for me. It left my hair very very tangled IN the shower, and even after the shower.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After testing the OGX Smoothing + Liquid Shampoo, I was satisfied with the results. OGX is a super affordable and innovative brand. This shampoo had an amazing scent that almost perfume-like and long-lasting! I also loved the packaging. I do find that OGX products make my scalp dry, which is my only complaint about the product.
