I bought this just in time, I put off unboxing it, then I unexpectedly needed it during a power outage. I was able to cut the box open set everything up in no time, by myself with only a flashlight from cutting the box open to wheeling it outside, it took me about an hour. Put the wheels/legs on, oil in, gas in, plug the battery in, good to go! Once connected it didn't bog down at all and I'm running a 50amp service. There's a lot of brands out there, but Westinghouse definitely gives you a great bang for your buck.

Bought this generator after hurricane Helene. Did a lot of research and this make and model always had great reviews. After receiving it today I must say it really looks well-made and very well packaged. The unit looks top quality. Very happy with my purchase.

I recently purchased this generator, just waiting for a chance to use it. Here's what I've seen so far. Pros - Easy to assemble, easy to use, fired up on the first start and seems too run strong. Cons- loud and heavy, but for the price and if it's as reliable as people say, then you really can't beat it! Build a small generator storage shed and that will take care of those two minor issues in my opinion.

Purchased to replace a 5500kw generator. the power allows me to run my water heater along with other appliances. Set up took about 20 minutes. What I like about this purchase. Easy setup, very clear directions and maintenance instructions, multiple warning placards to warn you to make sure a step is completed, a small tool set, oil included, well packaged, dual fuel capability. Easy to maneuver once wheels are on. Unit was smaller than I expected, the fold down handle is very comfortable.

Bought this to replace my 20+ year old generator. More power, more features, and overall a better generator. Very easy to set up and start. Now I have only had this generator for about a week, but if it performs like my other Westinghouse products, I know I'm going to love it!

I just purchased in November 2024, I have not used it yet as intended. I will hook it up to a 50amp wall plug installed by an electrician once it is done. It has some great features, I love the build quality and the option to use propane. This is my first generator with a battery start, I will enjoy that feature as I am not as young as I used to be. This should be plenty of power for my needs.

I bought this generator last month and have been very pleased with the performance. I like that it is electric start, has a lot of great features, plenty of places to plug in and most of all supports multiple types of fuel. One of my main reasons for upgrading is that it has plenty of power, is easy for anyone in my family to operate. We lose power a lot where we live and this has been a great upgrade to our previous unit. I can honestly highly recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a new generator. I just received my WGen9500DFc, and the unboxing and assembly were straightforward. I tested it with both propane and natural gas, and it ran smoothly on both. It has more than enough power to handle everything I need. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase—it's the perfect generator for the price I was looking for.

I just got this a month ago and love how easy it is to use. My wife loves the remoter start. It seems well made and I like the user interface. Have only ran it on gas at this time but its so much better than my other generator that Ive had for over 10years.

It is heavy so be sure you have assistance or it stays on the pallet until you are ready to install the wheels. It was delivered in a rain storm and everything inside was soaked including the manual, but the unit was fine. Worked great with propane for the 5 hour burn in. I did a NG setup as well and that also worked great. I haven't had to use it in a real life scenario yet, but seems like it will do the job.
