This is an update to a previous review. I initially had difficulty with the first startup of the generator. Westinghouse support helped me to resolve my issue. I am now completely satisfied, in fact delighted, with the my generator. I am an older person and would have difficulty with traditional pull start motors. The electric start is a blessing. Runs great.

After studying tri-fuel generators carefully for the last several months, I finally pulled the trigger on purchasing this Westinghouse 9500 TFC. Could not be happier with the purchase. This generator is absolutely solid. Setup was a breeze, and coupled with a power inlet box to my my panel, I can confidently power up much of my entire house, including my air conditioner. Instructions are clear and simple. Generator was packed and shipped very securely. Highly recommend the tri-fuel series. Running this off of natural gas straight from my house.

Love remote start. Had everything put together in less than 1 hr. Started right up. I live out in country. Power goes out when squirrel farts. I have my house set up to back feed off the generator. Turn all my 220 off and it will run my whole house. I run 3 freezer and refrigerator at same time. It will run electric hot water heater too.

I've been using my Westinghouse generator for several months now, and I couldn't be happier with the performance. It's incredibly reliable, easy to start, and surprisingly quiet for a generator of its size. Whether it's for powering essential appliances during outages or running tools on a job site, it handles everything with ease.

We are very pleased with this generator. Attaching the wheels & feet, hooking up the battery, adding oil, getting the generator up and running was easy. It is not very loud, especially for a unit this size. It runs everything we need it to. We are happy we no longer have to leave our house during power outages, which occur frequently in our area. We highly recommend this generator.

Have had the generator for over a month now during a long power outage. Very easy to assemble. Hardest part was putting the oil in which there is a funnel provided and just make sure you pour it in slow. Not an issue at all. Not very loud at all. Was able to run water heater and Pellet Stove while also powering all the 110 outlets in the home including Frig and Freezer. Very happy with the power output.

I purchased this recently and what a quiet, reliable generator! Right out of the box and 15 minutes later I was up and running! George Westinghouse, back in 1886 would really be proud of this unit! The dual fuel option is of course an added bonus! Great job Team Westinghouse!

Following a recent spinal stenosis surgery now limiting my ability to lift no more than 10 lbs, I ordered this specific generator. I was able to assemble it quickly while working within my medical limitations. Per only the prophane, the generator fired up immediately and has operated flawlessly.

Easy set up with no extra tools needed. Poured in the included bottle of oil. Removed the spark plug and placed less than a teaspoon of oil in the cylinder wall and pulled it 10 times to distribute that oil. Reinstalled, spark plug. I then hooked up to a propane bottle and hit the remote start button started right up. Ran flawlessly for one hour with no power hook up. I then began to vary the wattage from 750 W to 3500 for 15 minutes and shut it down. Will continue to break in less than 50% rated wattage for five hours and then change the oil and it should be ready to go for the big load.

At this time I am only giving a 3 star. Due to the fact that I can not manually start it with the pull cable when using propane. It will start manualy with the pull cable on gasoline with more than usual effort, then I would expect. But it will start at least manually on gas. I would like to give it a 5 star rating, but I am concerned about it not starting on propane using the manual pull cable. I would expect something better new right out of a box. Even the excessive effort to start it manually on gasoline. It starts with the starter and with remote key, both on propane and on gasoline. It seems to run really good and holds a good heavy load, which I'm impressed, at least about holding a load.
