A great upper mid-range tequila. I love this as a shot, a drink with just a splash of seltzer and muddled limes, or simply on the rocks with an orange twist for sipping. It is full of flavor and spice. I would recommend this to those whole like fuller flavor, so whiskey drinkers, this maybe your tequila counterpart.

Don Julio Reposado is aged for 8 months, which is longer than the standard aging process. It has an amber color with a rich smooth silky finish. This is a top shelf tequila in every since of the term. It does come with a hefty price tag, but it's so worth it. We normally buy the large bottle but there has been distribution problems, so grab whatever you can get when it's in stock. Also, this will elevate your margaritas to new levels.

The bottle and packaging is very classic and i love the cork stopper! I do not keep my tequila cold i always keep it room temp. I think the flavors taste batter at room temp and have a sweet oaky full bodied flavor but very smooth with minimal burning. This is the kind of liquor where you wont need a chaser.

One of the best tequilas you can find under $50. Very smooth and 100% agave, needless to say. Not the same as the extra expensive cognac-like tequila. Given that, it's one of the few tequilas that can actually be sipped. It can be chilled for shots as well, of course.

One of my favorite resparado Tequilas out there in the states. Not a huge fan of Don Julio Blanco for the price but this I will spend the money on because of the smoothness and great subtle flavor. This is a Tequila you sip chilled with no chaser, salt, lime needed.

I received this as a gift over the holidays and what a great gift it is!!! I usually drink Patron or Jose, but this Reposado is exceptional! It has a nice warm, smokey taste to it. Not good in my jalapeo margaritas, but perfect in my mexican mule or as a shot with an organic lime and salt.

Honestly my favorite tequila. It's so strong yet so soft!! The flavor this has doesn't compare to any other. I love to mix this with Pineapple & cranberry juice! I have bought this bottle so many times, I can always go for another one with no hesitation.

I love Don Julio tequilas. I like the silver but recently have been drinking the reposado. The flavor is smooth, so I enjoy drinking it simply on the rocks with some limes. It's also a crowd favorite amongst my friends when I bring Don Julio to the party for shots. I always stock up at duty free :)
