The taste is very good. It combines citrus flavors very well for a deep dark beer taste that I enjoy. I plan on drinking these by the poolside during these hot crazy months. I highly recommend.

It doesn't taste dark and you don't taste the 9% ABV. It has a very citrusy flavor and has a strong but tasty aftertaste. I am very glad to say that Voodoo Ranger was the only beer with glass bottles in the entire store.

This one is one of my top favorites because of its crisp and rich flavor. The label design is a little weird, but the contents are great. I wish they offered a low carb or low calorie version of this product because I would keep that in stock at my house. But as far as the taste, the flavor is amazing. I would recommend this beer.

This imperial IPA is pretty smooth but you certainly get the taste of hops, which for me isn't overpowering but it's certainly there. As somebody that usually tends to lean towards German beers, this is a good alternative and switches things up a little bit in between. I'd probably buy again.

Ever since New Belgium released 'Rampant Imperial IPA,' I was immediately hooked into the unique flavor profile. Although things have changed, the flavor profile has not...that beer that has since been rebranded 'Voodoo Ranger Imperial IPA' and is everything special that the original offers. How New Belgium has an IPA grain bill with 'Black' malt is certainly crazy, but it works with great results. Also, the the date coding which shows both Born On and Best By date codes illustrates just how fresh the beer you are purchasing actually is. It is an easy, daily drinker for 9% and New Belgium's consistency is one of the best in the industry.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Rich in color and aroma, Voodoo Ranger Imperial IPA appeals to your senses of sight and smell. Tasting it was more of a challenge. It is strong, too bitter for my palate. It's harsh on my taste buds. I couldn't taste the citrus. Unfortunately, even pouring it in a cold mug didn't help.
