This scotch was okay. I'm not a big scotch fan. It does have a good flavor. The bottle is pretty. I would definitely serve this over some ice. This is definitely a sipping drink. Much better flavor than most that I have tried. I would buy this again for someone that enjoys scotch.

A nice smooth smokey flavor. Well worth the extra money on top of red label. It is a nice middle ground between blue and red. I use whiskey stones so I dont dilute the flavor or I drink it neat. DO NOT mix this with soda. The smokey flavor will not blend well!

Man I love Johnnie Walker it is one of my favorites I can put it in the glass and just drink it straight no reason to make us that at all it's very smooth goes down nice I preferred on the Rocks but even without ice when I don't have it it's really smooth

My Man loves Johnnje Walker Black! Loved this gift set that was available around Christmas time! The person at the liquor store actually showed me this gift set which included two unique glasses that was actually the same size bottle and same price except you also get two cool free Johnnje Walker brand glasses to enjoy your drink in! He loved this as a Christmas stocking stuffer! Hope they continue to offer holiday sets! I'«m personally not a fan of the woody, raisin-y taste. However, this doesn'«t mean it'«s not a well-made whiskey! My boyfriend (who is much more of a whiskey fan) drinks this over ice and considers it one of his favorites. If you'«re like me, just add some ice or a splash of water!

Smooth and delicious. My husband and I enjoy a glass (or a few) over ice and it's perfection. We prefer it compared to most brands and it has exceptional flavor for its price point. It is also a brand that is readily available at most liquor stores. Love it!

I'm a bartender and I always recommend Johnnie Walker over other whiskey options. I've been a fan since my early 20s and love that there are so many different "labels" that offer some great variety. I'll definitely continue to buy this product. Smooth, delicious on it's own (requires no mixer), and especially with a cube of ice. :)

I consider JW Black to be an excellent, neat drinking whisky, which is, perhaps, best not over-analysed. I can understand why some whisky ‘experts’ on these pages are rather dismissive of it due to it’ rather uncomplicated taste.
