Even with it being an SPF 30 it did not leave a white cast, and I was able to apply my makeup as usual without a cake-like feeling. I like to take walks on my breaks so I was happy to have the SPF protection. After I wash my face at the end of the day, my skin feels soft and hydrated. I like that it's fragrance-free and non-greasy, so it doesn't clash with the scent of my other products. It's helped me with my morning routine since I wanted to try it without using serum for awhile. It's been great; SPF protection for my walks and other incidental UV exposure, and light and hydrating for my day use makeup routine. And, bonus, the Olay jar looks really nice on my vanity. Upon its first arrival, the appearance of the bottle was cute (while not super important it does play a part in the product's overall appeal). Upon applying the product I was beyond pleasantly surprised at the application of the product. It provided a smooth application with no greasy or thick finish. I was able to immediately apply my makeup on top of the product without smearing or smudging. The general wear of the product is very smooth. My skin is very obviously benefiting from it and I definitely feel as if it provides great sun protection (I wore it outside for quite a bit of time without any burning sensation or burnt skin). I am very pleased with the product and will be purchasing it time and time again.
