Malibu and lemonade is one of my favourite tipples. It does remind me of being 18 as it’s all I used to drink when I went on a night out and I do usually prefer gin now but whenever I have a glass I really enjoy it. It’s such a summery drink as it smells just like it should be being sipped from a sun lounger! It’s a nice bottle and good value for money as the 1l bottle isn’t much more than the 70cl one, really good quality ingredients and a delicious drink

This rum is great for mixed drinks. It barely tastes like it has alcohol in it, which for me is a bonus as I don't drink that much. I would recommend this to anyone who like to drink more fruity aloholic beverages. I wil be buying again in the future.

I tried the pineapple flavor at a family members birthday party mixed with pineapple juice and coconut water and it was really good. I also tried it mixed with orange juice but I prefer the pineapple mix. I would buy this again because it tasted good and it's not like you get drunk off of it easy cause you don't.

If you like coconut then this is the run for you it tastes soooo nice comes in a glass bottle love the packaging with the Caribbean palm trees makes it really stand out plate price is pretty fair for what it I do like rum but this is defiantly my favoure rum only problem is it’s so nice you can get a bit carried away

This is a sweet drink with coconut flavour a nice refreshing drink with ice and coke. It mixes well and is not too strong at 21% alcohol and is nice in cocktails . It has a nice smooth creamy taste and comes in a nice designed glass bottle that can be recycled.

I’m old school with this one I like it mixed with pineapple juice over ice and that’s it. The coconut flavor is strong enough to mix well with the pineapple juice. I’ve heard of people using it to bake with but I personally have never tried it. It’s a sure thing, you can’t go wrong with it,

Malibu is a refreshing tropical tasting rum. Love it for Summer nights. I usually drink it with orange juice because that’s what I have available in the fridge but it’s better with pineapple juice. I’ve also had it with Coca Cola but that sometimes leaves a funny aftertaste. It’s not a spirit I reach for a lot but when I’m in the mood Malibu really hits the spot.

One useful bit of information on the bottle is the recommendation to "enjoy… straight and chilled or with your favorite mixer"; I cannot stress the "chilled" part of that statement. I keep mine in the freezer to maintain a constant state of readiness.It performs its role as a coconut-flavored liquid fairly well, and allows one to intentionally– or unintentionally– find oneself sneakily edging further into an inebriated state while sipping this; just ask me from a few years ago, after I snuck a 750ml in the waistband of my shorts while heading to a late night Bonnaroo set. However I digress, the niceties may have to stop there.As far as a neat sipping experience goes, those of you who can't even look at the bottle without getting nauseous due to a particular college experience aren't missing out on much. An astringent aroma of rubbing alcohol and oxidized butter (like if you leave the cover off the butter dish for a few days, that waxy outer layer of the butter) leads the nose, with a La Croix-level hint of hint of coconut and a tinge of impending regret wrapping up the bouquet. The palate, similarly, is pretty one-note: tap water, coconut, and white sugar fight for supremacy, which makes sense as those appear to be the major ingredients in Malibu. The finish is short and dry, which is interesting given the high water-to-alcohol ratio, and the fact that this liqueur likely was stored in neutral containers, and not aged. However, it does coat the inside of one's mouth, leaving a reminder that one will definitely need to brush one's teeth after "enjoying" this. That is likely the product of non-insignificant amounts of sugar in the product: WIRD and some of their brands (cough Plantation cough) are no stranger to adulterated rums, so it is not a stretch to imagine that they may adulterate their non-rum liqueurs too.

One of my favorite drinks is Malibu and Pineapple Juice. Every time that I go to my lake house this drink always is a staple. It is refreshing and delicious and a little too easy to drink sometimes. The price point of Malibu is so reasonable that there has never been a reason to explore other options.
