I'm not the biggest fan of rum but i bought this and added to some pineapple juice and i have to say it was very good!!! I normally drink rum during summer months by the pool relaxing and taking in the sun and having the smell of coconut on my breath!!! Highly recommend

This has been a favorite of mine for years! I'm not a huge drinker so I don't mind that this isn't extremely strong -- in fact I sort of prefer it.This tastes great in the type of fruity, tropical drinks that I enjoy at bars/restaurants and it's also super easy to create (simple and) delicious cocktails at home. It's great with pineapple juice and flavored lemonades!

Malibu is a great tasting drink. I usually mix it with coke or sometimes with multiple other drinks. I usually only drink a couple mixed with Malibu because the sweet coconut taste can sometimes be too much for my stomach. Other than that the price is good as well as the quality.

Malibu is the perfect rum for summer fruity drinks. The rum itself is coconut flavored and good for mixing. However, it's only 21% alcohol by volume. Compared with other rums (such as Bacardi) that are 40% alcohol by volume, you're getting much less bang for your buck.

The thing about Malibu Rum that sets it aside from all others is that it has a unique creamy coconut taste that on it's own is so delicious you could drink it right out of the bottle like its juice. This rum is amazing with coke because it adds a creamy delicious coconut flavor. This rum is amazing and should be a bottle at all parties for family and friends.

I love Malibu with coke or pineapple. It’s such a yummy fresh sweet alcoholic drink. It smells delicious and I love the bottle. I think it’s so pretty and makes you feel like you’re on a beach somewhere lovely and hot. Most spirits are dear I think but I always get these on offer.

One useful bit of information on the bottle is the recommendation to "enjoy… straight and chilled or with your favorite mixer"; I cannot stress the "chilled" part of that statement. I keep mine in the freezer to maintain a constant state of readiness.It performs its role as a coconut-flavored liquid fairly well, and allows one to intentionally– or unintentionally– find oneself sneakily edging further into an inebriated state while sipping this; just ask me from a few years ago, after I snuck a 750ml in the waistband of my shorts while heading to a late night Bonnaroo set. However I digress, the niceties may have to stop there.As far as a neat sipping experience goes, those of you who can't even look at the bottle without getting nauseous due to a particular college experience aren't missing out on much. An astringent aroma of rubbing alcohol and oxidized butter (like if you leave the cover off the butter dish for a few days, that waxy outer layer of the butter) leads the nose, with a La Croix-level hint of hint of coconut and a tinge of impending regret wrapping up the bouquet. The palate, similarly, is pretty one-note: tap water, coconut, and white sugar fight for supremacy, which makes sense as those appear to be the major ingredients in Malibu. The finish is short and dry, which is interesting given the high water-to-alcohol ratio, and the fact that this liqueur likely was stored in neutral containers, and not aged. However, it does coat the inside of one's mouth, leaving a reminder that one will definitely need to brush one's teeth after "enjoying" this. That is likely the product of non-insignificant amounts of sugar in the product: WIRD and some of their brands (cough Plantation cough) are no stranger to adulterated rums, so it is not a stretch to imagine that they may adulterate their non-rum liqueurs too.

Malibu always reminds me of days by the pool in college. It’s so easy to sip on just by itself but it also makes some killer cocktails and mixed drinks. I also love the coconut and pineapple flavors. It’s also great for Jell-O shots! Malibu is definitely a summer must have.

Great coconut flavor but doesn’t taste overly sweet. Mixes well with tropical flavors to have an island style drink or with cola to have a refreshing beverage. A little goes a long way, so you get a good value for your purchase. Love experimenting with combinations for this product.

This is my go to mixer for any juice. We also like to inject watermelon with it for adult get togethers. Affordable and easy to find. This is one of my favorite liquor brands. Great taste and blends well. I recommend Malibu to all my friends that like rum.
