Malibu is the perfect rum for summer fruity drinks. The rum itself is coconut flavored and good for mixing. However, it's only 21% alcohol by volume. Compared with other rums (such as Bacardi) that are 40% alcohol by volume, you're getting much less bang for your buck.

I feel like you don’t have to spend too dollar on a flavored rum as you are most likely going to be mixing it anyway. Malibu is good for just that, oj, pineapple juice, heck, even kool aid works well mixing with this. Not expensive and good flavor. I buy this all the time.

Absolutely stunning light and freaking flavourful drink! Goes down way too easy! Love it with lemonade but also goes great with juices too. Add a splash of other alcohol and create yourself a juicy cocktail yum. Great value for money and as a plus the packaging is old reliable!

Malibu Coconut Rum tastes yummy but it is super sweet. It's great to use in mixed drinks or if you're making frozen drinks like a pina colada. If it could be less sweet, I think I would like it a lot more. I would buy again but it's not my first choice by any means.
