My favorite rum altogether! One of the only types of hard liquor I can drink all on it's own without a mixer. The sweet flavor covers up some of the alcohol flavoring. I like it on it's own or added to sprite. It's also a good choice because every bar has it. I enjoy the tropical vibes on the packaging as well.

Beautiful summer liquor 🍸

Malibu original Caribbean Rum 🍹. When this popped up to review I thought ohh I haven't tasted this in a while so we poured a small glass and had a tipple with a little lemonade. This takes us back to hot summer evenings and waves lapping on the shore it gives you a holiday vibe with its sweet coconut smooth drink that is so refreshingly light. It's a coconut flavored liqueur, made with white rum. The aroma is sweet tropical fruit coconut's . I love the bottle and the price is reasonably priced. I love the fact I can have this with lemonade or coke or meat over ice 🧊. Definitely delicious 😋 .

When I was 21, this was my go to mixed with some pineapple juice. It is still a favorite. I love that you can't taste the alcohol as much as other brands. The packaging is super cute too-simple and to the point. I would definitely recommend Malibu Rum to others.

This used to be my go to alcohol when I first started drinking because it was so easy to drink! It taste so good it is easy to do as a shot! It is always good in a mixed drink as well and gives the drink a little kick of cocoanut! I would recommend trying Malibu if you haven't.

Malibu is my favorite liquor and my go-to whether I'm at home or at the bar. Mixed with pineapple juice and grenadine or honey-mango syrup is what I prefer, but it can also be used in a full On The Beach blend. I highly recommend giving this alcohol a shot (ha ha) if you haven't already!

Malibu original Caribbean Rum

Malibu Rum is well-known for its signature coconut flavor, offering a smooth and tropical twist to various cocktails. ### **Flavor Profile:** - **Primary Flavor**: Sweet, rich coconut with a hint of vanilla. - **Smoothness**: Very smooth and easy to drink, especially for those who prefer sweeter spirits. - **Aftertaste**: Light and sweet with a lingering coconut essence. ### **Best Uses:** - **Cocktails**: Perfect for tropical drinks like Piña Coladas, Daiquiris, and Malibu Bay Breezes. It blends well with fruit juices, sodas, and other mixers. - **Straight**: Can be sipped on its own but is generally more popular as a mixer due to its sweetness. ### **Strength**: - With an ABV of 21%, it's lower in alcohol content than most standard spirits, making it a mild choice for casual drinkers. ### **Overall Experience**: Malibu Rum is a fun, approachable spirit that's great for beach parties, summer cocktails, or anyone who enjoys light and sweet drinks. The aroma intensity of Malibu Rum is moderately strong. Upon opening the bottle, you are greeted with a pronounced scent of sweet coconut, which is the dominant note. There's also a hint of vanilla and tropical fruit in the background, making it quite fragrant. However, due to its lower alcohol content (21% ABV), the aroma doesn't have the sharpness that some higher-proof spirits might have. The overall fragrance is inviting, soft, and sweet, aligning with its tropical flavor profile. It's noticeable but not overwhelming, making it a pleasant choice for those who enjoy lighter, fruitier scents in their drinks.

You're not a real female if you've never gotten hammered as a young girl on some original Malibu! Or maybe your signature drink is a 'Malibu Bay Breeze' as a mature woman mother... Whatever your fancy, if you like coconuts and tanning lotion, and SLOWLY getting your buzz on, you'll like this.

I love this mixed with pineapple juice and a spring of fresh mint. Super tropical and fruity. The perfect summer drink, and the price point is unbeatable also. It's a staple in my liquor cabinet, among the more expensive scotch and bourbon. Sometimes you just need a fruity drink.

This rum is the only kind I like, whether I buy it myself and make a drink or I have it at a restaurant or bar, its all I like. It doesn't give me that burn that some drinks do- it also tastes really good with orange juice or with pineapple and orange juice. Something I use often.

Beach, please

Malibu is a fun, easygoing rum that's perfect for tropical drinks. Its flavor profile is sweet and coconut-forward, with a smooth, almost creamy finish that makes it dangerously easy to sip. The aroma is instantly recognizable—strong coconut with a hint of vanilla, transporting you straight to the beach. At 21% alcohol content, it's much lower than traditional rums, making it more of a liqueur than a high-proof spirit. The packaging is simple but effective, with its white bottle and beachy design reinforcing its tropical vibe. As for mixability, it's fantastic—Malibu pairs effortlessly with pineapple juice, cola, or even just a splash of soda. It's a solid choice for casual cocktails, but too sweet for those who prefer a stronger, drier rum.
