Me and Captain Morgan dont have the best history together. My first really really bad hangover was off of drinking captain Morgan and pineapple juice. The next day I felt so sick my head was pounding after only having four drinks. Now that might sound like a lot to some people but I am a very heavy drinker. Ever since then I Steer clear of this run.

Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum is wonderful and certainly has a smoky spice to it. I personally like drinking it with coke or vanilla coke. I feel like the vanilla coke really, really compliments it well! Be sure to use lots of ice and stir to really blend the liquids. 

Is it great? No. Is it good? Yes. Does it get better as you drink it? Absolutely. You're guaranteed to feel like a pirate. Complete with sudden wondering about why the rum always seems to be gone. A little sticky which isn't great if you're a spiller. Otherwise a go-to spiced rum.

Well if your in the market for some rum welcome to the one you will probably end up buying. If someone wants a rum and coke? You got it. Mixes well with tropical juices so you can sail away to your own private island. Wanna really feel like your in the tropics? Blend it up with some coconut and pineapple and maybe even add a floater so you really taste the warm spices of this rum! Dont forget to raise a knee and a glass to the Captain!

This is not for everyone. I feel like you have to be a rum lover to enjoy spiced rum, as it can be a little too intense of a taste for people who like vodka or tequila. I use this to make coquito, a coconut and cinnamon drink that is made in Puerto Rico.

This is the standard in spiced rum, but in my opinion it is weak, and too sweet. I won't say no to a rum and cider, but there are other brands that are much better. Still, this is a great choice to have on hand, as many people love it. And being slightly weaker than other brands, it makes a fine shot!.

My boyfriend is hooked on this alcohol. It goes down smooth what more can you ask for? Captain Morgan paired with sprite is where its at! I like the plastic bottles more than the glass but maybe thats just me. Decent price for the size bottle you get too

This has been my go to since I was old enough to buy liquor. It is spicy so you'll want your mixer to be on the sweeter side to balance it out. My favorites are orange soda and ginger ale. Orange soda winds up tasting like an orange cream sickle and ginger ale mixed right tatas like cream soda.

I think this rum should be a staple in everyone's home bar. There are so many uses for Captain, including mixed drinks (Captain and coke) and even shooters. I think it is expensive for the quality and there are better rums out there. It's popular though, which means more people know about it. I would always keep this rum in stock at home. 

Captain MY Captain! Keep it simple and keep it cute. Love Captain Morgans spice rum for all of my occasions. I am the first to reach for the bottle and the one always trying to sneak it back home. The flavor gives me the feeling of being on the islands enjoying my favorite rum punch.
