Why are there chunks of artichoke in this?

This is creamy and delicious, and it works as a dip, as a sauce for meats and veggies, and as a condiment on sandwiches. BUT there are big chunks of artichoke in it! WHY??? Why ruin a great item like that? Please figure out how to leave those things out and it will be a 5 star item.

Great Dip for different uses.

I recently bought this dip again. First time was just too much for 1 person. This particular batch seemed to be a bit more salty than I recall. However I love that I can read all the ingredients( keep in mind you have to label food with each ingredient of each ingredient, hence the long list). This time around I added diced chicken(12 oz) to part( 1/3) of the dip, added a bit of onion and garlic powder(1/2 tsp each) threw it on top of a naam bread, topped with extra mozzerella , heated in oven and was good to go for a quick lunch, dinner!

Not what I'd hoped for...

I purchased this spinach dip for a party. I was hoping it's be like most spinach artichoke dips - creamy with lots of goodness. This dip is VERY heavy on the cheese. In the fine print, it mentions 4 cheeses. It's more a cheese dip with some spinach than a spinach dip. The more I ate, the less I liked it. FAR too cheesy for my taste. If you like cheese dip, you'll like it. I you buy this spinach dip actually expecting a spinach dip, you may be disappointed.

Eh, consume ASAP after opening

Tastes fine, better heated. We prefer with wheat crackers or crispy pretzel chips. Purchased after trying a sample on site. Be cautious though - we opened it the 31st and by the 3rd all covered in mold. Expiration is the 23rd, so not close. Unsure if it was a bad batch or what, but probably fine to purchase for a larger party so it's consumed at opening.

Cream Cheese

Picked this up, excited to have a snack around the house. Cold, it was not good. Lots of chunks of cold cream cheese. Heated up was better, but still not great imo. It is very thick. I feel like I'm just eating cream cheese. It may be better adding cheese, but not worth the effort for me. Won't buy again, but will continue snacking on it until it goes bad/is finished.

So good but WHY GELATIN

There is no reason for sour cream to have gelatin, which I'm assuming is pork based, so now I can't buy this. I have sour cream in the fridge, the only 2 ingredients are cultured cream and slim milk. Very frustrating because it was very good when heated.

Do not recommend

I wanted to give this another star or two, but this is the oddest spinach dip I've ever had. It tastes...ok. But halfway down, there was a huge chunk of unmixed cream cheese in the middle. And you CANNOT heat this up. Please don't try it. Instant regret.

Not very good

Purchased this for a dip for Christmas 2022 lunch and it sat there. A few tried it and heck even I tried it and gross. Smells heavily of artichoke which is fine, but had a weird taste. I let it heat in a 275 degree oven with the prime rib and still not good

Just Okay

I found the taste did not have much balance if taste at all due to the lack of balance. The artichokes are very large chunks, almost as if only quartered. I had to make a number of additions to improve it. I think as a filling in baking you could zip it up enough that it would work. As just a dip, it might be embarrassing to serve. So recommending it would be difficult as a dip but yes for baking.

Nasty

I love spinach dip so I was excited to try this. This was like dipping straight into sour mayonnaise. I thought I would be able to heat this up but this is not the more cheesy type. Heating this would have probably made it taste like literal vomit. It's like all these cream dips and salads at Sam's are made with the same weird mayo base. I think I'm done buying these types of foods at Sam's.
