The paper that wraps each stick is easy to remove, and I don't think I've ever had a stick of the butter that is misshapen or less than 1/2lb. per stick. Often times other butter brands have paper that is not so easily removed because the sticks aren't well formed.

I always use Land o Lakes butter for my holiday baking, just as my mother did. recently, my daughter called for a recipe , as I listed the ingredients, she said "butter, Land o Lakes, right? " I told her that's what makes the recipe. I've taught her well, just as my mother taught me.

The butter is soft to use when I leave it out on the counter. It is easy to mix into dry ingredients. Even my youngest grandchild can "measure" out 1/2 cup.

I have used this butter for probably over 30 years as it's the one that was in my house growing up. I still buy this butter but not as much as before as I am taking a preference to grass-fed cows' butter has more flavor but this one is still a great staple.

Land O'Lakes butter, the traditional variety, is the one I have used for years. It's dependably flavorful, so I only need to melt it when I want to have a butter sauce on pasta, vegetables, fish or chicken. Sometimes I dust it with a little black pepper, paprika, parmesan or capers.

We are a Land o'Lakes family. We've used it for 4 generations! Everyone has it in the fridge, no exceptions. It's a part of who we are! It made me very happy when I saw my children start their adult lives and Land o'Lakes was a staple in their homes. Now I see it with my grandchildren. I use it because that was all we used when I was growing up. My son told me it always reminds him of our home when he was a child. Just a little thing that carries memories.
