Generally I buy the Great Value brand because it is less expensive and tastes as good or better to our family than the name brand. However this is one of the notable exceptions where my family WILL NOT tolerate the generic brand. We have tried and they just tell me that it doesn't taste the same. So we buy Kraft. I find that there is a slight price break to buy the 5 pack. Generally I try to wait for a sale or a good "price match" opportunity. (yes we are one of THOSE kinds of families!) I personally like to mix jalapenos into my dish of mac and cheese to spice it up. My family just eats it plain. How boring, right? But this is still one of the cheaper meals out there... even if the generic would still be cheaper. Sometimes you have to go with what tastes good.

My kids will eat this every day and almost do. We buy in bulk when it's on sale. One thing we won't buy generic is on Mac n cheese. It has to be Kraft or nothing. Unless it's homemade or sometimes velveda and shells is something they like but that's more $ then the Kraft Mac n cheese

My macaroni was messed up and damaged.

To east to over cook. Stick together.

This is not the most nutritious thing to ingest but it sure is delicious!
