I like mine a little on the burnt side so mine were completely done. The taste of the patties where delicious. They had a great taste not too spicy like some. My boys enjoyed having them prepared multiple ways but specially the classic with just eggs. What's amazing is how you can easily make this sausage for dinner as well with the burst of flavors you can pair it with veggies or noodles even over rice and beans. The cooking instructions are quick and simple my boys know how to either throw them in a pan or cook them in the air fryer. The texture can vary depending how you like them, personally we enjoy them with a crispier outer layer. They're definitely delicious. So why deduct a star, well simply because there's no need for the added corn syrup to continue the tastiness of this sausage it's just added unnecessary sugars.

The Sausage Patties are great for making breakfast sandwiches. I'm not a big fan of sausages but my husband is and he loved using this to make his biscuits and gravy in the morning he adds the sausage into his gravy.
