Very unhappy with my Glad ForceFlex Apple Cinnamon tall 13gal trash bags. The Drawstrings on these bags rip 95% of the time when closing bags. Very frustrating, making it hard to tie close the bags. I gave a 1 star because of this.

These bags were the best out there for years and years. I wouldn't buy any others. But then Glad decided to make them paper thin, gave them a drawstring that rips out and changed the interior to an ugly black color. EVERY SINGLE BAG RIPS! The slightest thing pokes a hole right through the paper thin plastic. Also, the bags are impossible to open...the interior is stuck together. Is there a plan to go back to the original quality or should I just move on to another brand because the current bags aren't acceptable?

I live in a fourth-floor walkup and have to routinely walk my trash down to the basement ahead of trash pickup day. These bags always survive -- no leaks or tears -- no matter how heavy the load or what is contained in the bag. And believe me I've tested limits!

Glad used to be Go-To for the 13-gallon kitchen trash can for over 2 decades! Apparently, saving a fraction of a cent by shortening the size of the bag was more important to Glad then then overall performance of their product. I thought maybe it was my fault and the same trash can is now fat like the rest of the household? So now, I get to fish the Glad bag out of the bottom, wading through all the muck so empty the trash. Makes my job so much more delightful! But, I did want to give Glad kudos for allowing me to justify that new Simple Human Trash can so that I can get bags that fit again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a loyal Glad customer for years and recently bought this product. These bags are way lower quality! They tare very easy and the draw string pulls right out and tears completely off the bag when it's only 2/3 full. It has broken completely open on me before leaving garbage and old food all over my kitchen. Ever since introducing the Forceflex Plus the standard Forceflex has gone way down hill and isn't nearly as functional as before when it was just standard Forceflex.

I have used Glad kitchen trash bags for years and the ones being sold up until last year had red drawstrings that worked. Now the new bags have black drawstrings that don't work! They will not draw the bag together without reaching into the trash and pulling from the inside. Gross!!! Sorry I can't recommend Glad trash bags.anymore.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited about trying Glad Kitchen ForceFlex Leak Protection bags after other brnds failed me. I got my first box yesterday and this happened after I used the first Glad Kitchen ForceFlex bag. It leaks too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bring back your plain tall kitchen bags. Preferred without drawstrings - just the 4 flaps, no scent. This Leak protection is a terrible invention and the bags are thinner and tear more easily. They are hard to open. There is no indication of sent on the package, yet there is a perfume inside -yuck! These have to cost Glad more to make than the plain bags. We HATE these. After 25+ years I will be leaving Glad products behind unless they change back.

I have tried a lot of brands of trash brands from cheap to expensive. I must say however that Glad Kitchen Bags are the best around. They are tough and durable. They don't tear or leak. I can always trust them to perform exactly as they were purposed.

I have used force flex bags fir my 13 gallon trash can for years with no issue. Lately they split on the seam when I put them in my trash can, so there alot i cant use and have to throw away, after what I have now are used up I'm switching to another brand
