I bought these tires 8/8/18, 7 months ago, and they were so smooth on the road and very 'quiet'!  I still am pleased with the purchase!

Quiet Ride

General Tire

On a 12 Mustang v6 and also have them on a 14 Patriot. Ride smooth, minimal road noise and splash through the water with ease.

Can NOT go wrong with the Alta max tires!

Only problem is the tread geometry causes gravel rocks to get stuck. Then the stone erector tread kicks them out on highway speeds.

Good tire

2nd set of AltiMax that I've purchased.  Like last set on another vehicle, this set satisfies again.  Good, quite ride.

Another satisfied purchase

These Alrimax tires are handling the roadways quite well thus far no complaints...reasonably peiced good tores!

Two months since purchase and no issues with my tires.

so far the tires have performed well, we have about 5k miles on them.  no issues. ride and perform like the OEM tires.

Excellent replacement tires

I have four cars from a Jeep Cherokee to a Chevy Spark, and two in between, and each ride on General AltiMAX RT43's.

These 4 Altimax rt-43 fits perfectly on my 2017 all black journey. Makes it more sporter. Handles the road and acceleration. Keep that hush! LOL.

Great All Season Tire

Just had my 1st tire rotation at 5000 miles. They are still smooth and very quiet. Tire Pros in Springfield Missouri are fantastic to work with.

Absolutely will buy again

As soon as I purchased these tires my truck vibrates.  I've brought them back to the tire dealer and they rebalanced them on three separate occasions. After the the third failed attempt they gave me a new set of the same exact brand and still vibration.  I've been to 5 different mechanics and they say everything under the vehicle is tight and they see no issue in the vehicle that perhaps its the tires.  I received a recall letter but the DOT on my tires are not included in the recall which is hard to believe because the letter states you will experience excessive vibration which I have experienced from day one.  Unless the tire dealer has damaged my vehicle, which I highly doubt, it is the tires because my truck NEVER vibrated until these tires were installed onto my vehicle.

Vibration from day one

I purchased these last fall, the factory tires which never had very good traction were to the point that I could not do another winter with them.  I have low mileage on my car since it is only a 'work' car so wear was not the issue.  These Generals have considerable amount of traction comparably and improve the handling of the car.  They allowed me to make it through the winter, even driveway busting through 6 some foot deep snow drifts in my little Sonic, very impressive as I did not want to walk the rest of the way (200 yards or so in cold blowing snow).  I used Tire Rack to  review options and in my opinion, these were the best for me.  Very pleased with this purchase.
