Great tires. Use the snows by general also. Have gotten 60k plus out of the tires. Good even wear but i do rotate every 8k. Have used them in snow about 8/9 inch storm did good. Good corner grip and average noise from the tires, good fuel mileage numbers from them. I am happy enough to by another set in the spring when the snow tires come off.

2012 Honda Fit Sport (5-speed).  Good traction in the wet.  Good traction in the dry.  Quiet tires compared to the Yokohamas that were on the car before.  A little softer in the corners, but I like how the tires do not track as easily with grooves in the road surface.  Driven 25 miles a day on a mix of side streets, 4 lane roads, and highways.  I only use these in the non-snow seasons.  Easy pick for compact cars in my experience.  Hope this review helps.

I bought these tiries based on the review from Consumer Reports. I have a Lexus GS350. Tire provide a really smooth ride and handle well. Great in Winter Snow and Summer Pavement. I am super impressed by the Value. I also have gotten the best mileage ever using these tires.

Bought for 2001 Avalon over a year ago. 15,000 miles and still beefy in front/ look full tread in rear (haven't rotated them yet). One of the better all seasons I've ever used in the snow and, during one major ice storm, kept me on the road for a 22 mile drive home. Bought some for a sister's Nissan Versa... price was super good again and she loves them. She doesn't drive that much, and isn't much of a car person, but has said more than once they are quiet and she feels confident to drive in the rain.

I bought these tires in the fall just prior to winter season so I was hoping to get a tire that would cover me for both winter driving and everything else....and that is exactly what I got! These tires are really nimble and sure footed, capable of handling light snow with ease. I have these on my '17 Subaru Outback and the combination of AWD with the tread pattern help me manage just about every condition. I am very pleased!

Got these for an 02 A6 that my wife drives. No issues other than a nail she hit within 2 weeks of getting them. Glad for that TR road hazard warranty! I haven't heard any noticeable noise from the cars and put winters on shortly after they were installed, so I haven't had them for long. I like that these were available in the XL rating. Her winters are Generals as well and I've had no issues. Nice traction in Pittsburgh winters, which while not all that snowy, are indeed icy!

This review is on my first set.   Bought my first set and needed to replace them sooner than expected.  Bought my second set only because dealer gave me a small discount because of the short tread life on the first set I bought from them.  I hope the ones I have on my car now will hold up this time. I will not buy these tires again if they don't.

I have two sets of these General Altimax Rt 43 tires.  Both are on 87 Chevrolet El Caminos. One set is 14 inch on stock wheels, the other is 15 inch on 8"" rally wheels. They are quiet, ride, drive and handle well. They're good in rain, don't know about snow !  Don't know yet about the tread wear or mileage will be. I've had these tires almost a year now. One of the very few tires made to stock specs for my stock and original 1993 Miata MX 5. SO glad I found them. Absolutely perfect for the sometimes aggressive and sometimes docile cruising I like to do. Great traction cold, wet (which does not happen often as I tend not to get my car wet at all), warm dry,etc. Great wear as well. Highly recommend them and also like the price. P.S. I always have my tires ""road forced balanced"" and  get a quality 4 wheel alignment when four tires are installed.I recommend this as well.

I am a full time rideshare driver in Massachusetts and drive average of 1k miles/week. When I replaced all 4 tires my 2016 Subaru Forester 2.5i AWD Premium drives fantastic. Great traction on both dry and wet surfaces. Handles much much better than with previous tires that came with it. Price is never less but worth every penny of it. Overall I'm very satisfied with General Tires. Recommended to all professional rideshare, fleet and family cars.
