Not sure how or why the comfortplus is better...but, it is. I've used Scott for decades and just recently started with the comfortplus and it feels stronger and softer. I recommend it over the classic Scott.

I hate this toilet paper. It is thick but it will rip. I think it might be too soft and that's why it rips so easy but I stay away from this and I will choose other brands

This is my toilet paper of choice. Not too paper and the texture seems to make it better. It feels weird to review toilet paper, but this stuff really rules. I won't buy anything else.
