One of the best remote apps

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had mine for over a year now. I bought it because it could connect to Alexa, but that has been replaced by an excellent phone app, which comes in handy when I go to bed but forget to turn off my TV in the other room

Buyer Beware

A 2018 Model Smart TV that doesn't support 5GHz! And they don't mention it only support 2.4GHz. Shame on Vizio, putting old technology in their TVs and calling it Smart? All your going to be watching is the circle spinning as it tries to buffer! Vizio = Rip off artists!

Hello, this television does have a dual band wireless card and will support 2.4 and 5 Ghz networks. If you are not able to see the 5Ghz network your television may be too far from your router and that signal will not reach as far as the 2.4 Ghz frequency. Slow, glitchy...of the 5 Vizio TV's we've owned..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ....this one is a total disappointment. We have T-Mobile wireless 5G broadband where there are 11 devices always on our network. on family occasions that number can rise to 23 devices on our WiFi network. None of the smartphones, laptops, tablets or TV's slow down, pixilate, buffer or glitch EXCEPT this Vizio D-Series 32" Class Smart Television. Additionally, the T-Mobile wireless 5G modem is literally approximately 24 feet from the TV with unabstructed line of sight to the modem. in the Connection Test results from the TV Menu I observed the Signal Strength icon at 4 bars, the Connection Speed was 9487 kb/s.while watching "A Few Good Men" on Pluto TV On Demand. AnyThoughts?

This is not a dual band tv so it is only using the 2.4 g since this isnt a 5g model. I love this TV!

I got my TV a year ago and use it to play videogames, and use it with my computer for work. Totally worth to buy. It is a great product because of the many features it contains in it already, its great resolution, and the many ports to connect the TV to other devices.

Has all needed features

Purchased this unit for temporary use while waiting for replacement of my 65 inch Vizio that malfunctioned. Connected with Vizio online and they set up for replacement to be delivered without question. Have been using Vizio for a lot of years and have always been happy with product.

The Firmware Situation is a disaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a Vizio TV and it couldn't even update to the latest firmware. I had to download several updates before it would even go to the latest firmware. When I did finally get it all updated it ran great with lots of new features. This is a sad state for a production TV though. Any firmware updates should download and patch out of the box. Come on Vizio!

Great tv

I am very happy with my new tv. The only problem I had with it was I didn't know how to get to live tv when I hooked it up. I pushed input and figured it out by going to cable. It would have been nice to have had a paper with the tv to tell you to do this. Luckily I could figure it out.

Easy set up

I bought this a few months ago, but Had issues with the remote not working with the tv, so I reset it to factory settings. messaged with someone in support and haven't done it again, but there are some issues. wifi connectivity could use some work, and the remote issues.

Too finicky.

When I first bought this, it took 8 hours to set up. It would finish updating and then take me back to the began. It was extremely frustrating. Not only that, but it continues to reset randomly and have you set it up as a new TV. sometimes taking up to the original amount of time. What happened to turning on a TV and being able to use it. Not telling it what took your in and how you want to use it. Not worth it. 4 months in and regretting the purchase.

Haunted but Tolerable

Smart TV's are a great advancement in technology but I'm patiently hopeful they will continue to get better. As with many owners, mine will disconnect from the app I'm watching and return to main menu. It will also lose picture and audio. I unplug, press power button on & off constantly. Even though I can't wait to replace this tv, I actually do love the Cast option with beautiful pics for a screen-saver effect.
