Two stars because it did smell good. However I did not like this shampoo. It did nothing for my curls, in fact I noticed my curl pattern going away and increased brittleness of my hair. I had high hopes but unfortunately I wouldn't buy this product again.

I have been struggling to find a good shampoo to use now that my hair has transitioned from being naturally straight to extremely wavy. I wasn't sure if this one would work for me since I don't have super tight curls but it does wonderful! It is an affordable price and smells like coconuts which is always a winner in my book. I would say I can to about 3 days before my hair starts to look oily which is pretty good for my hair type. This also makes my hair feel super soft and makes the texture of my hair a lot more even and cohesive instead of super messy after washes. I love this stuff!

This shampoo is okay, but not great. It smells great, and cleans the products out of my hair very nicely. I originally purchased this shampoo when I decided to break up with my flat iron and embrace my naturally curly hair. It did initially work well and I felt my curls were shaped nicely but still soft and bouncy. But after a few weeks my curls were weighed down stringy and lifeless. Some research into the needs of curly hair helped me to discover that some of the ingredients in this shampoo are not ideal for naturally curly hair. If OGX decides to release a reformulation of this product without silicones or alcohols I would certainly be first inline to try it; but for now It's just not the right shampoo for me.

I love any and all things coconut, and I love the way this makes my hair feel and smell. I also love that the company is working towards sustainability and eco-awareness. I also like that it adds waves/curls to my hair. It always can use a little boost and I dislike using heat tools on it.

LOVE this shampoo and the accompanying conditioner! The smell is amazing and natural. Does great at cleansing my scalp and keeping my curls hydrated + defined + and bouncy. Definitely a 10/10 My hair is thick and curly, between 2c + 3a. Runs dry due to all the bleaching and straightening I've done in the past, and has no problem becoming oily when straightened during a 2-3 day no wash.

This product definitely made my hair feel soft, but I noticed over time that my hair was becoming dehydrated and weighed down. My stylist then told me that anything with thick oils/butters (coconut oil) actually dehydrates your hair over time because it makes a coating around your hair strands that water can't get into (oil and water repel). And when there's no water to hydrate your hair, it's dries out. The soft feeling you feel in your hair is just the slick layer of coconut oil on the outside.

I love this product for my curls! It's hard to find a good quality shampoo for curls that works well and won't break your wallet, but this product is perfect! It hydrates my curls so well and really brings them to life!! I would definitely buy again when I run out

I really liked the smell and feel of this shampoo, it worked well for my hair for a while but I am finding I need to switch off sometimes and while using this shampoo I switched to a different soap, all natural with natural oils and found it much better. This shampoo is good, smells good, feels good but the other was better.

I have wavy curly hair and bought this shampoo, hoping it will not make my curls frizzy and more defined. I used it for a month, the scent is nice, not overpowering, lathers nicely and rinses clean. I didn't notice a big difference in my waves and felt it made my waves frizzy. Not what I was looking for, does nothing for my waves or curls. Wouldn't buy it again.

I love the way this makes my hair feel and smell!! I have wavy/curly hair and my scalp tends to be ouly while my ends are dry but the dis wonders for my curls they seem light and fluffy no frizz and it makes your hair smell really nice not an overwhelming coconut smell!!
