Lettuce stays fresh under refrigeration for extended periods of time and retains good texture and taste during storage. Much hardier than a fresh lettuce head. Once open, close bag well and the lettuce will stay fresh for > a week. Accidental freezing does not ruin flavor but will create a soggier product best used in soups or smoothies.

Taylor Farms lettuce is the best! Great value for the money. The Sam's price is unbeatable for the quality of lettuce. Love it for salad, sandwiches and eating right out the bag. I have frozen some on a sandwich and it was just as tasty the next day at lunch.

I don't have the time or inclination to shred lettuce. at this price it literally is not worth my time to mess with it. Open the bag pour it out and I am done. It won't keep fresh so you have to use it all or toss it. but, at the price who cares?

Look carefully at package. Rusts quickly in spots especially since iceberg doesn't do well once cut. Buy when you are going to use right away. Mine was awful in fridge after 2 days. Date was still good

So if you use it right away it is fine but if you buy it on Monday for a Friday chances are it might be going bad already.

I could not use up this product before it began to spoil. Too much product for my use.

Bought several bags for a party. Great product for use the day of purchase. However, 48 hours later we went to use one of the unopened bags and it was basically liquified, brown mush. Thew away 3 unopened bags, all had over a week to go on their "Use By Date".

I love this lettuce. Great for anything!! However, once you open this bag (no matter the dating printed), it ruins in about 2 or 3 days. Compared to a head of lettuce, it is too expensive to ruin this fast. I always have the mind to return it for exchange, but never make it. It you're going to use a lot fast, then it's perfect. Otherwise, this is a huge waste of money.

This product is just terrible. Purchased twice now and both times the next day when I need to use it, it's brown and soupy. Just gross!!
