There is a noticeable difference in the flavor of the Philadelphia brand. It is also easier to get Philadelphia out of the foil packaging than some store brands.

I LOVE using this for my peanut butter pies - it makes them so creamy and rich. You can use cream cheese for so many different recipes. I love to keep it in the house for snacking, putting on crackers or peppers with some everything seasoning. All in all for the price / you are getting wonderful quality!

It is highly recommended!!! It is coming in different types of packaging but I prefer this one because is easer than others to take off. It is a bit pasty, which means it doesn't absorb quickly and form a layer on the toast, which I love.

I don't care if the FDA approves of gums, they taste bad and literally muck up recipes. From cheesecake to frostings, every recipe turns out gooey instead of light and fluffy. So disappointing.

They are now adding carob bean gum in it and the taste is very odd. IN fact when you make cheese cake the sugar enhances the carob bean taste. It ruined my Christmas cheesecake, and made me sick to my stomach. I only put one star because I had to.
