We love this tape. It is such a life saver. It has many different uses. Besides using it for paint prep we have used it when working on shoes and projects with our kids. One thing that really stands out to me when it comes to this tape is that it is easy to tear. Also, that when you lose your spot it is easy to find where it left off at. Included an art project I did with my kids with it.

So brought this yesterday to get a clean edge paying the extra for something decent, what I got was a tape that has set me back 2 days by ripping all the paint off the wall back to bare plaster ! Thanks duckbrand for stating it can be used on delicate surfaces such as paint ! I now have to start all over again !

We bought this thinking we were gonna get some progress with the 14 day tape,nope it was a compleye pain wouldnt come off in full it ripped so close to the ceiling i was using a putty knife and it kept ripping that way even without any paint on it. My neck is so sore and my opinion its a pure disappointment after 2hrs. Plus its very expensive. Lesson learned.

bought this tape to use around trim. I didnt want to have to remove the trim to paint it. This tape is terrible for painting. It won't stick to anything except itself. If I could, I would give it negative stars. For the price, it should do as it is advertised.

This is not painters tape. It left a disgusting sticky residue on my project (which was like a plastic/vinyl) which I have not idea how I am going to clean off. And it did not peel off easily. I would not buy this product again and would warn others not to do so. It is trash, stick with scotch.

Product quality has changed. I compared the rolls I bought 2 months ago to the rolls I bought this month. The tape used to be strong, stiff, and sticky. Now it is weak, flimsy, and less sticky. Very difficult to use. I will go back to buying the cheap stuff.

Purchased this product because packaging indicated it was safe to use for recently painted surfaces. We painted our kitchen 2 months ago, but was just painting the trim and this tape pulled the wall paint off when we removed it. Followed instructions on packaging, but it still peeled our wall paint off!!! Now we have to repaint walls!!!

Raft adhesion problems? Not anymore... Clean Release is here! I have been testing every masking tape on the market for 2 months looking for the perfect raft adhesion transfer tape for a lack of a better name. Its a temporary tape some people use for 3D Printers. I place a removable tape on the print bed to increase part adhesion during printing. It makes removing the part from the bed easier and protects the glass from scratches. Please sell this in 2x2", 2x4", 4x4", 6x6" and/or 12x12" pre- cut peel-n-stick Sheets and/or market this tape in the 3D printer market. Thank you.

Do not recommend. I have never ever had this problem with any type of painter's tape. Ruined every piece of trim that I put it on including the side of our cabinet. should have went with the cheap tape, it would have worked so much better. Now all of this trim and the side of my cabinet is going to have to be replaced. This is not okay!

ran out of 3M so I used some clean release and it remove sections of paint previously painted.Basically ruined project and now have to repair and repaint walls.I am a retired contractor and the words going out to all my friends and family to NEVER use this tape
