I use this to cover up random lights in hotel rooms. Annoying blinking fire alarm lights, bright TV power buttons, microwave timer, etc. Usually takes 2-3 layers but it works great. Comes off clean, no complaints. I've heard you can also use it to keep paint off surfaces too, what a neat idea.

I had to paint the walls and the framed mirrors. After finding out how long to wait after painting before taping (24 hours), I decided to play it safe and wait 3 days. I couldn't believe the amount of paint that came off with the tape. Now I have to buy some better tape and repaint the wall. I'm extremely disappointed.

The best easy to remove tape after painting around windows (you tape inside the window frame on the glass next to the frame) clean lines. I also use for my kitchen freezer for a quick label of contents - I use pentel marker on the tape - it adheres to silicone bag, zip lock bags, and tupperware type of containers.

Most people think that all painter's tape is the same, but it isn't. The only thing worse than taping down a surface for protection only to have the tape peep right back off, is trying to remove it once the job is complete, only to have it tare to pieces or leave a sticky residue.

Peeled paint right off walls. I do not recommend!!!
