I have always been a fan of cottage cheese. I remember growing up Mom would buy whatever was on sale. I think that I remember preferring some brands over another, but not enough to make a difference in whether or not I would eat it. That changed after eating Darigold brand cottage cheese for the 1st time. Wow! I had never had cottage that was as fresh %26 creamy in appearance %26 in taste...it was delicious! From that point on, I knew right away (sometimes without even tasting it) if the cottage cheese in front if me was Darigold. Now that I have tasted the best of the best in Darigold Cottage Cheese...nothing else compares, in appearance, in taste, %26 in overall quality. YES...I am a "Cottage Cheese Snob"!

Trying to higher protein. Cottage cheese is very versatile. It can be eaten as is, with vegetables or with fruit. Can blend it for a filling for wraps or lasagnas. Appreciate that it is a lower fat option and doesn’t have a lot of weird ingredients

It's ok but not as good as the members mark cottage cheese was, which was the absolute best. This cottage cheese is runny and doesn't have a rich flavor almost like it was made with skim milk. Doesn't bake as well in lasagna, too runny.

Not very good. It's very runny. I prefer the other brsnd that's been discontinued. I don't think I'll buy this again.

I love cottage Cheese, but I'm sorry, I didn't care for this. It has more of a sour tang to it. Texture was a bit off. I had a couple of bites and just couldn't eat it. I ended up throwing the whole container away. I like the Knudsen cottage cheese that Sam's use to carry. I bought the Knudsen brand monthly. I will not but the Darigold brand again. Please bring back Knudsen!!!

We were so excited to finally see cottage cheese back! Different brand, but in stock and bought 2 . I took a bite and looked at my husband and made him try it... It was well within the freshness date and sealed properly. It didn't look or smell spoiled, it actually looked amazing!! But, it has this strange sour bitter after taste and chewy curds... Like fake rubbery feeling in your mouth. We returned both. Please bring back our regular cottage cheese and also, bring back the bigger cottage cheese too! That was the best hands down! We miss it.

I am so disappointed in this change. We have bought the cottage cheese at Sam's for years. It tasted amazing, so much better than any other cottage cheese from anywhere. Then it would be weeks that they wouldn't have it in stock. But it was worth waiting for. Now Sam's no longer carries the old brand of cottage cheese and replaced it with Darigold. I didn't even buy any for the first few weeks because the sell by date was usually within a week of when I was trying to purchase it! The previous cottage cheese was usually good for at least 3 weeks. After several weeks I finally found one that was a little over a week out so I bought it. The flavor is nothing compared to the previous cottage cheese. I ended up throwing almost half of it away. I tried complaining to a store employee about the short freshness date and all I got was a shoulder shrug and that there wasn't anything he could do about it.

The cottage cheese brand is not as thick and has a lot of liquid. The Daisy brand you had before was great. The texture and taste was much better.
