No stars! Why would you change something so great?? This newer version is terrible! Also, it doesn't state "new version" or "new formula" on the bottle. So I had no idea you added pea protein, which is a problem since my nursing daughter has a pea protein allergy. Thankfully after the first taste of terrible I looked and realized. If you change the ingredients you should really let people know. Lost a faithful customer.

This tastes awful! Not only does the packaging look like the other brand that are not environmentally friendly but the inside taste like it looks. Sooo disappointed but the change!!! Why fix what's not broke!!! BAD idea -- fire the guy who made this! What are you thinking Silk???

If this company cares about sales, they'll go back to the old formula. I thought I bought hazelnut by accident when I first tasted it. No, it just tastes like garbage now. They decided to toss in some Pea Protein and some High Oleic Sunflower Oil. Did anyone even try this stuff before deciding to make a change? Because if they did, they would have realized how bad it is. Gonna have to find something else, unless this company fixes this huge mistake.

Hate the new packaging - no need for all that plastic . And why would you need to change the flavor by adding other ingredients? What is pea protein? And why is high oleic sunflower oil in this creamer? As with any other "high oleic" oils this can cause abdominal cramps & diarrhea. I am so disappointed. This now tastes fake like the Natual Bliss Almond Creamer that I bought once to try and after 2 sips of my coffee I dumped the coffee and the container down the sink because it tasted awful. I am highly disappointed. This new recipe and flavor is not what I would expect from any SILK product. I bought 2 bottles to have on hand at home as well as one for work but I'm returning them all. Have I said how disappointed I am? I had rate this as one star because I didn't have the choice to rate this product as ZERO STARS.

I have one thing that is a must have and that's my coffee and now you've ruined it. This was the perfect creamer before you changed it. Now I have two large containers of horrible creamer. Now I have to find something else. Thanks a lot. I see by the other reviews that I am not the only one who thinks it's awful.

What did you do?! I used to go to the store and they would be sold out of this perfect plant based creamer, and when I would find it I would leave with 6 cartons! The ORIGINAL formula was amazing and I noticed that the small ingredients list was increased and now has 5 more calories per serving. I am outraged that they would also change the taste and packaging to look more like a typical coffeemate creamer when the original formula and packaging was phenomenal. We reccommended this creamer to an extensive amount of family and friends, and everyone we know is upset. Please consider going back to the old formula, because if it stays this way we will stop buying all silk products. Thank you.

I have been trying to make healthier decisions lately and decided to try some almond creamer. I bought the small carton of this and was SO happy that I found a delicious new go-to creamer! I went back to the store and bought the bigger, plastic bottle, and was SO disappointed. It doesn't taste the same. It has a fake taste to it. The old recipe was so much better!! Now I'm on the hunt for a good almond creamer again...

To echo what many others are saying...what happened to the old silk almond creamer?? To be honest, I liked the new packaging but not at the sake of the change in taste, changed ingredients AND more calories. I won't buy unless the old comes back. The carton was fine.

I've been looking for the Silk Almond Vanilla Creamer in the cartons. The stores I'd been buying it at have been out for a couple of weeks. I finally found the new plastic containers in one store; so I picked up 2 thinking just the packaging had changed. Apparently the formula for the creamer changed also. I do not like this one at all, I will be looking for an alternative. I don't usually write reviews, especially 1 star reviews, but I would like the company to know that I would like the old formula back.

I have been very loyal to the Silk Almond Vanilla Creamer for years. You could even say I was passionate about it and recommended it to everyone as well as get really out of my way to find it. Yesterday I bought the new one now called coffee whitener and it tastes terrible. It even made my mouth numb. Very disappointed.... even sad. I will not buy again.
