These tires have been great. They grip really good around corners and during the rain. I haven't used them in winter weather yet so im not sure about snow and ice performance. They are quiet while driving down the highway and ride smooth. I am very impressed with the performance so far. I think i have found a new car tire at a great price as long as it performs good during winter weather.

I purchased these tires for a friends car... 2004 Mustang V6. It has been modified to suit a handicapped friend of mine that has no legs. He drives very conservatively. All feedback I get from him is 100% positive. They were installed several months ago and have been driven through dry, rain and light snow conditions and they have given him good confidence in all conditions.  I am definitely going to consider buying these tires again when my other cars are ready!

Bought a 2008 Miata that had Michelin Pilot Sport summer tires. I waited for summer, but even when the tires warmed up they noisy. Replaced with General AS-05. MUCH quieter and handle just as good as the Pilot's for our driving. I'm not saying it's better than the Pilot for all drivers, but it is a good, quiet tire. PS The main reason I tried General is my satisfaction with the Altimax 43 on our SUV.

i bought a used 2015 Hyundai Veloster with 29k miles and it had Kumho Solus tires. Their was good tread left on the tires but the ride was like if the tires were filled with cement. I upgraded to the G-Max 215/40ZR18's and the difference was night and day. The ride is much smoother and quieter and handling is great too. They performed well in the rain and also in some snow this past winter. You won't go wrong with a set of these tires. I've only put on 3k miles and still loving them.

Very happy with these tires. They perform solidly in the hot or cold, wet or dry. Traction is superb and my car corners like it's on rails. Most importantly I am confident in the ability of the tires to perform in all conditions. The only slight negative, which is to be expected due to softer rubber compounds, is the tread wear is more accelerated than other tires I've used.

I bought these for my summer cruising car and absolutely love them. I am a mechanic and put the tires on myself and they balanced so nice. I only have put about 2000 miles on them but with nice weather coming that should go up! My favorite part of the tire is the simple sidewall design. Nothing distracting or obnoxious at all. Simple smooth design. Tread  pattern is nice looking but more importantly offers a smooth safe and quiet ride. They did excellent on wet roads! I would definitely recommend this tire to anyone with a sportier car.

I've had the tires on a Nissan Altima now through a winter and summer - these tires are great!!  Very good traction in snow, rain and dry roads.  And even decent on ice if you drive smart.  Low road noise.  I hope they keep making these tires the same way into the future.  I will buy them for my other vehicles when needed.

I have a 2015 Dodge Charger RT and I drive a lot of miles for work, so I needed good all-around tires that were still able to keep up with my spirited driving style.  I was hesitant about taking the ""budget"" approach with these tires but have been extremely happy with the G-Max tires!  The lateral cornering ability of these tires, especially considering the heft of the Charger, is impressive.  It takes quite a bit to generate understeer and they remain predicable.   The wet traction is awesome! I had begun to question driving a rear-wheel drive vehicle in MN (it should be noted that I do have winter wheels and tires for the winter months) with all the rain and temperature changes, but the wet traction of the Generals is very impressive.  After 7000 miles treadwear seems to be even and minimal.

After 6 months and 7000 miles these tires still lookand perform as new.  There were some comments on noise when looking at reviews prior to purchase but I have not had that experience.  The aggressive tread panel and clean sidewall make these a great looking high performance tire thay accesnts the look of my custom car.

I bought a 2009 Mazda 3 which had horrible tires on it, the G-MAX AS-05 tires transformed the car. Living in Seattle, wet traction is a priority and these tires are great in the rain.  The AS-05 also offer sharp steering response, wet or dry, a quiet and comfortable ride and don't cost a fortune.  All three of my vehicles now have General Tires on them.  General has become my preferred brand.
