Extremely Disappointed

These tires came new on my Toyota Sienna. I have 25,000 miles on it and I was just told I need new tires by the dealer. The dealer won't even rotate them because they are unsafe. I followed all the specs o. Balancing and rotating. I just can't believe They would degrade this fast.

Love thes Primacy MSV4

I have always bought Michelin brand tires for every car I have owned. Even several new car purchases with other brand names, I made the deal subject to having four Michelin tires and the spare as well. Even if the car I bought had smaller temporary tires, I insisted on having a Michelin for the spare. I have no complaints about the Michelin tires, they have served me well. In winter, 2008, I bought four new Michelin snowtires, to replace the all seasons tires, just to be more secure in winter driving conditions. I change over to the all season tires when the conditions warrent it. The snowtires are fantastic, I never have been stopped by snow or icy conditions and feel very confident in having them on my car. I think I was recommended Michelin tires 50 years ago, by relatives who bought them and told me about their satisfaction. I was additionally convinced by doing reading, research and swayed by the effective advertising on TV, newspapers, and individual borchures I keep when I go to the tirestore where I bought the tires. Now I buy it exclusively, from a dealer, and have never waivered in my confidence and opinion that Michelin makes the best tires in the industry.

Pretty great so far

I've driven about 7K miles so far, and they're really nice tires for the following reasons: 1) In rainy weather, it's like driving in no rain -- perfect traction, no hydroplaning. Even when I've had to make an emergency stop on the highway, there has been no loss of traction. 2) I have the "H" tires, and they make driving on bumpy roads very smooth. It's like riding on an air cushion! 3) My fuel mileage has gone up about ~1.5 miles/gallon since switching to this tire. I'm really looking forward to seeing how long these tires last. Based on what I've seen so far, I would definitely buy Michelin tires again. The braking performance and comfort really stand out to me.

Not what is expected

These tires were the original tires on my 2012 honda pilot. They are not a good fit for an SUV. Horrible in wet conditions and unsafe on snow. I have purchased several michelins in the past including the hydro edge( incredible tire) and the primacy does not deserve the Michelin logo. I am changing tires for the Michelin latitudes hoping to have a true Michelin experience.

Great traveling tire

These are the second set of Primacy MXV4s I've purchase for my 2006 Avalon. I have had the new set for several months. The cornering is excellent. I was able to get about 50,000 miles out of the last set, but, feel I could have probably gotten another 5-6000 miles before we upgraded to the new set. There is some road noise that is a bit louder than other models. I tolerate this with minimal issues.

Great Ride but wears too fast.

These tires came with my 2015 Honda Odyssey Elite and was rated for 60,000 miles. The ride is pretty good but wearing was terrible. They get rotated and balanced every 6,000 to 8,000 miles but that did no good. Had replaced at 43,000 miles with Cooper CS5 Ultra Touring. If these tires lasted longer it would justify the price but you can get a set of cheaper tires that will last as long as these.

Peace of Mind

recently installed a set of new primacy's on my 08 Lucerne , instantly noticed a dramatic difference in ride comfort and handling, I use my car to transport my 23 month old son down country roads that are prone to flooding in the summer and icing and snow drifting in the winter, I've never felt so confident behind the wheel of my car, thanks to all at Michelin for designing such a wonderful product, I look forward to installing a new set of Michelins on my mothers car before next winter!

Great Tires - Poor Tread Wear (19kmi)

Purchased these to replace 2016 stock Honda Odyssey Touring tires... beautiful and great, when brand new. We have been experiencing a slow leak (since tires were new) so took it in and now we are told that after 19k miles/20 month old tires need to be replaced bc the wear? This is a van that is used to for short trips and on paved roads and gets rotated 5k during oil changes. We have used quality tires over the years, including Michelin, and this is the first tire that has proven to be defective. There is certainly something wrong with this tire for larger vehicles. I had these on a smaller vehicle and it did not have these issues of wearing too quickly. A tire should not wear to the point <4/32” with light to normal usage and correct tire rotations every 5k. I am not certain if It is this particular Michelin tire or if the van is too heavy for the tire, but beware when purchasing this particular tire. Again great tires, but the unfortunate speed of wear on the tread is very concerning.

31,268 miles < 60,000 mile Warranty

These tires came on my 2016 Honda Odyssey EX-L and already need replacement. I have had many sets of Michelin tires on different vehicles in the past, and these only lasted 2.5 years. Regular oil changes and tire rotation every time. I expected better from Michelin.

Tires get loud at half tread depth

I bought my Primacy MXV4 tires due to good ratings and twenty years of excellent experience with Michelin tires. For the first 30,000 miles I was pleased with the tires. They were quiet, handled well, and were comfortable riding. However, when they reached the halfway point in tread depth, the tread design changed. There was now a 5/8" wide bald band around the outer edges. My dealer said this was designed in. The problem is that that tire noise no longer can be disipated outward from the tires and is now projected up into the vehicle (2007 Infiniti G35x). I am getting sound level readings of 83-89 db on city streets and 89-95 db on the freeway. They are LOUD! I am going to have to shop for new tires with 50% tread left on my existing tires. They still handle and ride well.
