Safest Tire On the Road

Safety should be at the top of everyones list and that's where my Michelin Primacy MXV4 tops the list. Mine are known for never blowing out with their quality build & properly maintained. They now have 20K miles and still look like new & very dependable. I wouldn't buy anything else to put between the road & my family's life.

These tires have been ...

These tires have been fantastic. I have a 2001 Acura TL and it is on it's 3rd set of Michelins. Third set you say? Yes just got the third set with 158,000 miles on the vehicle. You see the original set of MXV4's lasted 92,500, the second set of MXV4's lasted 65,500. How many miles are yet to be had with the new Primacy's I will let you know. The comfort, confidence, and overall quality of these just cannot be beat. Thank you Michelin for such a fine product.

Simply the best tires ...

Simply the best tires I've ever used on my BMW 635 CSi. Nothing else compares! In the 220,000 miles driven on my car, these MXV4s provide the best handling and comfort balance with good durability. Excellent choice for any vintage sports coupe driver - no need to sacrifice ride quality with the low profile tires anymore

Put these tires on our ...

Put these tires on our Camry Hybrid and took a 2000 mile road trip. The handling and comfort are superior to the OEM tires. The mpg we got on the trip appears to be similar to the OEM tires - we averaged 37 mpg and that was with some driving in the Blue Ridge and Allegheny mountains. The tires have good grip in wet and dry. Still waiting to see how they hold up to a Chicago winter.

Good news, bad news....

The good news is they are very good in wet and moderate snow. Smooth ride with minimal noise and handling is good. Bad news is after 30,000 miles of somewhat spirited driving they are just about worn out. PLUS there are serious "grooves/cracks" that run in the deep part of the tread around the circumfrance of the tire. Not a good sign. NOTE: My recommendation to a friend is qualified - if you aren't expecting 60K out of them and assuming they fix the cracking issues....

Great Tire, Great Ride

Very happy with the Primacy MXV4 tires we recently purchased for our mid-sized SUV. I was replacing another well respected tire brand that had served us well. The tires we were replacing were listed as increasing fuel efficiency. I primarily use this car for commuting to work and the normal family ventures on the weekend. I immediately noticed a significant difference in the smoothness of the ride and the increased control and breaking. Granted I was replacing some pretty worn tires, but they had never had the same level of ride and handling. Also, I kept a close eye on the gas mileage after replacing and there was no appreciable difference in the gas mileage. Great tire and I would definately purchase again and recommend to others for similar uses!

26k and bust

Although a smooth ride, 26k on my Primacy MXV4s on the minivan and tires need replacing. Serviced and rotated every 5k. Not sure a 60k warranty is meaningful when these tires are so worn out. Unfortunately, need to replace with same tires as vehicle is leased. Unhappy and will try to avoid these tires in the future. I would hope that someone from Michelin would call me to make amends.

Great tire

These tires came on my 2014 Camry Hybrid. I got 130,000 KM from them and can't understand why other reviewers got so much less. When it was finally time for a new set, there was no question that I would choose the same tires. In addition to being smooth, reasonably quiet and secure (note, I don't do any driving in the snow), they helped me get much better mileage than the car itself promised. Although they are very expensive, I feel they are a great investment I'm only sorry that Michelin is discontinuing them.

Great Primacy Tires

Tires are the fourth set of Primacy's I have bought for various cars. All of the tires have been extremely durable, very smooth and do well in performance situations requiring good handling, grip in turns and quiet ride. I have never been disappointed with having these tires on 3 different vehicles I own.

The Only Tire I Will Buy

Our family has two large, heavy Mercedes 560 SEL cars with extremely high mileage. This is the only tire and manufacturer I would consider for our cars. We live in the country on a dirt road and drive primarily on highways or interstates. The handling and comfort in all these conditions including 1,500-3,000 mile trips each year is nothing short of excellent.
