Not up to expectation

Bought new Honda Odyssey. Tire have 40k miles, rotated during each dealer maintained service. Let's just President Lincoln's head is CLEARLY visible. Tire does not last.. It's a mini-van, hydro planing is not fun. Was quiet and comfortable for most of its less than average life.

Awesome tire, couldn't ask for more

Michelin Primacy 225/45R18 came OEM on my 2019 Kia Niro SX Touring. To date I've put on 90,000km, tires have worn out close to the wear limit, yet still going strong. I will put on around 100k or slightly more before changing them. As long as you take care of these beauties they'll take care of you.

Great tire

I purchased these tires to replace a Subaru stock tire that I got 50,000 miles out of. The Michelin tire is simply amazing. The drive is so much more quiet, smooth, and with so much more confidence for the AWD. Its an awesome tire. We are planning another tire purchase for my Kia Van and it will be Michelin.

Long time Energy/Primacy user

Michelin was the big name in Europe in the 60's and 70's. I started buying them in the 80's. As a Mercedes mechanic put it, "They are round and hold air." Translation: they are perfectly round and perform flawlessly (and never seem to lose air...) I've put nothing but Michelin Energy and Pilot on my cars and friend's cars. This is the third set of Energy/Primacy on the wife's Accord - she easily gets 60K out of them. This latest set of Michelins are smooth as glass at highway speeds, quiet, and very responsive. We don't get a lot of snow in the NW, but when we do, the Primacy grips tightly. And in our extended rainy season, it is a very good rain tire. Highly recommended for spirited all-season driving in a state with snow and rain.

A smooth and sturdy ride

My driving is varied from multiple hours of freeway cruising to mountain roads with numerous switchbacks. The Primacy tires are the perfect compromise between solid road grip and the smooth quiet ride I want on the freeway. I rarely drive on ice, but wet roads are common and I can feel these tires gripping the road. I've had the Energy tires before and they are even better at gripping the road, but the Primacy tires grip well, are quieter, and have a longer tread life...making them the perfect tire for me.

3 Set. No other tire for me

I combine normal in-town driving with monthly 1600+ mile trips halfway across the country. I need tires that get good milage, don't hurt my MPG, are quiet and handle any kind of weather thrown at them. The Primacy MXV4 are hands down the best tire for all conditions that money can buy - and the good thing is they don't require a second job to buy. This set is my third, covering two vehicles: a 1999 BMW 528 and a 2009 Ford Taurus. On the first two I have gotten over 50k miles with solid, even wear, comfortable ride, and sure-footed handling. One phrase: "Put these on your car!"

Super Smooth and Road Gripping Tires

This is truly the smoothest riding tires with extra road hugging performance. These tires grip the road in heavy rain like no other tires that I have ever owned. Also, I have experienced about 2 - 3 miles more per gallon increased mileage on the highway.

Exceptional tire.

We were getting ready to go on a cross country trip and I wanted to put new tires on the Kia Sedona mini van before we left. Did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before we agreed upon the Primacy MXV4. Put 1000 miles on them before we left and another 4000 on the trip, and boy, are we happy with these tires. Read comments on how mpg went down but if anything I saw an increase of 1 mpg. We were on the road 10 days and it rained 9 of those days and the mini van never lost traction, never hydroplained, and it felt like I was in control of the van at all times. The max speed we drove was 80, but most of the time was between 65-75 and the ride was so smooth and quiet. There were 5 adults + luggage and my passengers were amazed at the smooth and quiet ride. A person may get some bad tires from time to time, but I am completely satisfied with these tires and would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent Value

Excellent value tire. I have Michelin tires on all of my vehicles, and have for the past 20 years. This particular tire is on my wife's Lexus ES 350 . It is the replacement of the original tires from the facxtory. It is responsive to her driving needs and has worn well to date. I have the tires rotated every 5,000 miles from the dealer where I purchased them. Excellent service from them as well. I would highly recommend this Michelin tire.

We bought these tires as ...

We bought these tires as replacements for a 2009 Sonata Limited. The handling and comfort are exceptional and the ride is great and quiet. We do almost all the driving with this car on the highway and these tires are great; much better than the OEMs. In town, they perform very well, particularly with cornering and driving in rain. It's too early to comment on tread life, but for the first few months and several miles, they are performing great.
