MXV4 Tire goes the distance

This is the second time that I have purchased these tires. The treadwear rating is 60k. Granted I should have changed them about 5,000 miles back, but I got 85k out of them before purchasing them again. They'll hopefully be the last tires I purchase on my 162,000 mile Subaru.

Best tires ever!

I am on my second set of Primacy MXV4 tires on my Honda Accord EXV6 and live in the Northeast. The tires perform exceptionally well in snow and wet conditions and my first set lasted over 70,000 miles! Handling is excellent and quiet. We changed our other car to Primacy tires also! We highly recommend them! In fact, I recommended them to my sister just this weekend!

Excellent Mileage on my 2006 Prius!

I have had the Michelin Primacy MXV4 on my 2006 Prius for 23,000 miles and after the break-in period, my mileage went up about 2-3 mpg over the OEM tires. The handling is better, the tire is quieter, and the tire tread looks better with the Primacy MXV4. I really like the tire and will buy again unless Michelin comes out with a better LRR tire for my Prius. Cheers!

Great Tires

The Primacy MXV4 is a very good tire. My main tire concern has always been performance. Handling and traction in wet conditions is very important. My current car has AWD and these tires have really performed well. I will say, however, that due to noise-reduction tread pattern redesign in recent years they do not perform as well in snow as the older tread patterns. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

My wife and I were ...

My wife and I were driving from Georgia to Colorado to attend our son's wedding in August and I wanted to have safe and reliable tires for this long trip. After studying articles about various tires I bought these tires in July. It was an excellent choice. We drove a total 3865 miles in 12 days and during the entire trip I had complete confidence in the tires which handled extremely well both in dry and wet weather, as well as in the mountains throughout Colorado. Additionally, I had excellent miles per gallon, which I attributed, in part, to these tires. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

Great tire

Good tire life, quiet and stable ride. This set was a replacement for OEM. So far I have 92K miles on them and they're still showing quite a bit of tread wear left. I change them every 10K miles and do a lot of interstate driving. Will be replacing them on my 2007 Honda Accord soon with the exact same tire.

Great long lasting tires

I purchased my MXV4 tires for my 2007 Camry SE in November 2011 at 101,963 miles. The car now has 183,263 miles on it and my Michelins are still going strong - with a minimum of 4/32nds tread depth remaining all around. They provide a very comfortable ride, in town and on the interstate. Never a problem with them, and would highly recommend them.

Buy Michelin for exceptional quality

I purchased an older Lexus a year ago. The tires were loud and did not provide good traction. I replaced them with the Primacy MXV4's. The vehicle drove like a new Lexus. The Primacy is an exceptionally quiet tire. The traction is excellent in the dry, as well as wet, and even in the snow! I have never owned a tire that performs so well in so many areas. I will be buying another set when these wear out, but so far, with 20,000 miles on them, they have only lost 1 or 2/32s of tread, so it wont be any time soon. These tires are the reason Michelin is regarded by many as the best tires you can choose for your vehicle. Being a service technician on high end vehicles, I only recommend Michelin tires to my customers.

Nice tires, but...

I got a set of 2 to replace on my car, the other 2 tires are Pilot Exalto's which still has some tread on them. I don't know if it's the tire or the new treads...but it seems to sway left & right on certain hwy pavements. The explanation I was given was that the tread was grabbing on to the grooves of the surface & that it should go away with time. I'm running these Primacy MXV4's in the rear with the Exalto's up front. Don't know if anyone else had this experience or not, but I was told that this is common.

Outstanding Wet Traction

Never a thought of hydroplaning. These tires hold the wet road better than most tires hold on a dry surface. Also very good on MN snow and ice, but not quite as good as the Alpin snow tires for severe conditions. I would highly recommend these as performance all-season tires that you can trust in wet or snowy conditions.
