I purchased the tire set for a 2007 tundra, got about 5 years and 23000 miles and there is a decent amount of cracking and tread wear (enough to replace them). Far from the 70000 mile warranty. They were regularly rotated and taken care of, expected more from a higher priced and rated tire.

I purchased a set of Michelin Defender LTX for my wife's Lincoln today... Wow, What a difference from the OEM Pirelli's that came on it new.. We commented many times about how disappointed we were with all the road noise this Lincoln had.. Little did we know it was the Pirelli's. After two sets of them I wanted to try something else and low and behold, the New Michelin's did the trick. The road noise from the car is sooo much quieter now. I wont be putting Pirelli's back on this car again!

Currently have them on my F-250 diesel with 20,000 miles on them showing little signs of wear. Should be good for at least another 50,000 miles. I'm a contractor that puts about 40,000 miles per year on my truck and these tires have taken me coast to coast, Florida in the summer to Oregon in the winter with no problems. The ride is amazing with little or no road noise. My dad also runs these on his Grand Cherokee year round in Michigan and swears by them.

I was already convinced to buy these tires. This set is better, and handles better than previous set of LTX I had a few years ago, and they performed extremely well. On previous set of tires, on a Yukon, my wife had a 'generator' trailer come off hitch ahead of her, on 6 lane interstate. Between the Michelin tires, Stabilitrak on Yukon and anti-lock brakes, she was able to maneuver from one side of highway to other, multiple times, coming down from 60mph, to avoid the erratic trailer.

These tires are great night and day from my other tires. Live in North East Ohio along the lake. These tires have great snow traction and preform great on wet roads. would get them again and recommend them to friends and family. Got 4 new tires in November 2016

I replaced to Defender LTX M/S from original Premier LTX which was recommended as 'same' by tire specialist for my Pacifica Limited AWD. Wrong! It is noisy and bouncy at all speed. Also lost 0.3 mpg. No big deal on mpg loss. This tire may be better fit for pickups and off roads.

I owned Defenders previously, until 2018 when I replaced them with these current (2011 Highlander SUV). And now at speeds over 40 mph the oscillating sound is so loud and driving me nuts. I read a review when I bought these suggesting they are loud and now I believe it. Don't buy these -I don't know why Michelin can't design a quieter tire for SUVs. They have always been my go-to brand for my sedans.

Chevrolet put these on when two sets of the tires that came on the vehicle when new failed at 7000 miles. Have had them on now for nearly 97,000 miles just ordered another set for my Chevrolet High Country Silverado. Ride is superior to any make of tire I've had, durability is unsurpassed as you can see by the milage and handeling is great, especially on wet roads, don't know if you can get them to hydroplane in wet conditions. They lack a little in snow and ice but preform well if you just slow down like you should do anyway! Had only 1 flat in all the miles driven. Great security for my wife and I! Last week I had 4 new defender ltx tires mounted and balanced (P265/60r18). About 100 miles later the whole rear end of my truck now shakes like crazy when traveling between 55-60mph. I drove right back and they tell me that my rear 2 tires have "factory defects". I'm having them replaced tomorrow.
