I have used the defender tires for years on my vehicles and love them in every way. Bought a chev pu and the tires were still good, but did not like them and had to replace with these defender tires , could not wait the other tires were loud and did not drive as nice. I will only use michelin tires. My spouse does think it makes that much difference but it does.

Mine are the old style ltx and 6 years old with 87,000 current miles on them. The vehicle came with lattitudes that wore out at 77,000. I rotate myself every 5,000 and keep track of the correct rotation in a book. They show slight signs of sun wear and I'll change them before the next winter with an amazing amount of tread left. People still ask if I just bought new tires. Best handling, noise and wear tires I've ever owned!

I had run-flat Pirelli tires on my new Durango R/T...I replaced them after not even 12,000 miles with the Michelin Defenders.... HUGE Difference! Quieter. Better ride and better traction. I had these on my Jeep Grand Cherokee too and they are far superior to any other tire I have used

I am fairly picky and just bought my 3rd set. First set was bought due to high road noise for tires that came with car. First set only lasted 55k but my daily driver never rotated her tires so tread wear not even and had to turn em in early. First set was so quiet I went with a 2nd set but this time daily driver was religious about rotating tires so going with a third set after 83k miles.

I had the original Michelin LTX MS and now have about 500 miles on the new Defender LTX MS. I think Michelin really got it right with the whole design of this tire. The original LTX is a great beloved tire. It provides good all season traction, a smooth quiet ride and decent tread life. I see the difference to the LTX MS2 and the Defender LTX I am driving is mostly in the outer shoulder block tread design. Its not open so water and slush can evacuate more easily. I like this idea. So far I love the new Defender. My only advice to Michelin and keep a decent tread depth on your tires. For an SUV or truck 11/32 should be the minimum.

Bought a set of these tires 8 years ago for my truck camper. Great wearing tires drove across Canada, among other trips. This year bought another set, drove up the Dempster highway (gravel and mud all the way) to Tuktoyaktuk and back with no tire problems. Would recommend these good 10 -ply tires.

In my family is 3 set my dad has on Sequoia i have on my outback and Xv Crosstreck this tires perform just great for all seasons in snow. Little noisier then some tires i had coming from dealer but performance is so good i don't really care my dad has 40k on it still looks like brand new i have 30k same results on xv just installed tire rotation every oil change and you good to go

This tire is the most reliable tire and it has great stability and it has high performance and easy maintenance and easy to install it has high safety standards, + it has high compatibility, between all the tires, and it is well designed for long lasting very Comfortable among all types of tires, I recommend this tire to all my family and friends

Have these tires due to 70K mile warranty. At 20K miles, noticed extreme wear on the front. Realized had not completed rotation. Began rotating tires, but to no avail. Tread worn completely across entire tire on 2 of them. 2 remaining tires also low on tread. Likely 10K left on those. Have bought at least 5 other sets of Michelin's (LTX MS & LTX MS2). All lasted at least as long as the warranty. Not these. Tire dealer said nothing can be done for warranty. Pretty disappointing. These tires are not cheap.

I just drove a couple thousand miles on my new Michelin Defenders. Some of the ride was on I-40, perhaps the worst interstate in the system. But the tires smoothed the ride as much as could be expected. I wish all the money from hiway taxes went into roads for cars instead of bike lanes and squirrel sanctuaries.
