As a building contractor I drive a full sized 4 wheel drive truck, GMC Sierra and pull a dump trailer and my boat occasionally. I got more than 61,000 miles out of this set even though it runs on hot Florida roads, I tend to drive a little fast and stop a little harder than perhaps I should and my truck is rarely empty.

This tire is the best one on the road for me. I have over the years taken this tire way, way off road and often I've pulled 4x4's with more aggressive tires than these out of situations they could not get through on their own. I drive a stock 2013 Ram 1500 4wd and these tires not only take me wherever I want to go but they ride smooth. I often go in sand, snow, mud, rocks, you name it and this tire is gonna get you through. It takes a long steady foot on the accelerator but these tires will find a way to get you through. I just bought a new set of Defender LTX M/S tires for my 2018 Lincoln Navigator. They are quiet, even on typically noisy concrete. We'll see if they perform as well and exceed the tread life warranty like my multiple sets of LTX M/S2 tires did on my Ford Expedition. Tire rotations every 5,000 miles make a difference in making the tread wear more evenly.

Just bought these Defenders . My 2011 Ford f150 never rode so smooth ! Excellent in the rain and man talk about an improved ride. It's literally like a different truck. They are without a doubt the best tires I ever owned ! The best money I ever spent ! I never do reviews but went out of my way to do complete this one. You truly only get what you pay for. I am 67 years young and these are the BEST !!!!

I have had these tires on my Ford Expedition EL for almost a month. I have logged around 2000 miles, first impressions are very good. The control they provide is a big step up from the old BF Goodrich tires. I would not drive my Expedition in the snow due to poor stopping traction in the past. Now I do so with confidence. These tires are solid, in rain, snow and on dry pavement. This tire is quiet and rides great at highway speeds. If you are wondering if a tire can make a difference try these shoes on your vehicle you will be amazed. I will update this review as I log the miles.

I have had several sets of Michelins over the years and they have all been good tires, but these Defender LTX M/S are the best so far. I ran the PSI up to 40 -it was set at 32 from the installer and that made a big difference. I have not used them in snow yet but took a couple 800 miles trips and hit a lot of rain and sun at speed. These tires make my truck feel like a train- glued to the road...hit 1 to 2 inch pools of water on the interstate and they sliced right through it. Very comfortable ride and no excess noise. The only downside is I think I lost a MPG or two on the highway - but these are for a truck, if you want MPG your driving the wrong vehicle. Buy these tires you will not be sorry.

I've logged 30,000 km so far on these tires. They are quiet and have remarkable traction and grip in snow and rain. I've had Michelin tires on all my vehicles for the past 40 years, except once when I tried another brand. I was sorry I did and changed back to Michelin and won't consider another brand again.

Recommend by a coworker who has them. I'm very happy with my purchase, smooth ride, excellent grip and they supposedly last many miles. Just drove them on our first Wisconsin slippery winter conditions for the season and my new Michelin Defenders handled it great.

I have been buying LTX M/S versions since the early 1990s and have them on most vehicles I own. Just purchased a set today for my Explorer and noticed the difference right away from the Master Craft that were on there when I bought the truck a couple of months ago.

I have this tire on a 2000 F350 Superduty with a super cab. Every tire I've had on the front of this truck has been toast by 35,000. Terrible feather on the side treads, just worn out. I have 39,000 on the Defenders and they are in great shape with even treadware all the way across. Only half way.
