Awful Tire Wear

Bought these tires for 2017 Acadia on June 24, 2021 and have less than 23000 miles on them and only have 3-4/32 tread left. Despite regular 4 tire rotation. Awful wear history and bad look for Michelin… would not recommend!!!

Coonskin23, we're sorry to read your tires are worn out so soon. The tire has a mileage warranty. We'd suggest that you return to the selling retailer (if possible) for an inspection of the tires. Please have the dealer call us while you are there.

60,000 Miles is a Pipe Dream. 30,000 miles and mine need to be replaced.

30,000 miles and the tread is almost down to the secondary warning bumps. Nothing remarkable about the tires except that Michelin says they last 60,000 miles. That is BS per my experience. Do not buy these tires.

Premature treadwear - needs to be recalled

Like others, I'm disappointed with premature wear on the Premier LTX, just 15k on a 60,000 mile rated tire and the remaining tread is only at 5/32. Big Michelin fan, but I have to consider others based on this tire.

Biggins, we understand your concern, keep in mind that 5/32 is a considerable amount of remaining tread. This tire has a mileage warranty that your retailer would be able to administer once the tires are considered worn out. A member of our team will be in touch to further discuss the situation.

I had a set on a Lexus RX350 and got close to 50,000 miles. they are quiet and handle well in rain and dry pavement. Not a sporty tire. I drove these tires very easy.

Smooth and quiet

Replaced the OE Michelin MXM tires on my 2015 Acura RDX (56,000 miles) with Premier LTXs. Very noticeable improvement in ride comfort, road feel and road noise. Hopefully the treadwear will be as good as the OE tires.

Horrible Mileage

These tires come with my new Toyota Highlander FWD and the tread depth is already at 4/32 with only 24000 miles on these, although they suppose to last 60,000 miles.

Good name but poor product with short thread life

Got my brand new Lexus RX 450HL on September 2018. I put about 19000 miles on, and both of the front's tires are bald. I'm very dispoined, frustrated. No more for me.

Worn out prematurely

I've always liked Michelin tires, and still do, but these Michelin Premier LTX tires I purchased for my wife's car only have about 27,000 miles on them and they're worn down to the tread wear indicators. I paid a lot of money for these because they were Michelin and I wanted the best. These have been a disappointment.

Definitely Impressed

I know little about cars but these tires lasted me thru the last four years... I have lived in two countries with these tires and driven just over 56,000 miles without the need to get new tires. With hitting 60,000 miles soon, I am looking to get new tires and definitely considering the same Premium 245's.

Very poor treadwear

After two years and only 14,000 miles of gentle use, these tires are nearly worn out. They're already down to 4/32--the point at which most dealers recommend replacement. Unfortunately in order to apply the Michelin mileage warranty you have to wear the tires down to 2/32--the point at which they're unsafe and illegal. I'm not willing to have my wife drive on bald tires to wear them down enough to get warranty coverage, so the upshot is that Michelin's mileage warranty is worthless.I've been a loyal Michelen customer for several sets of tires on different vehicles, but this just takes the cake.
