Best tire ever

It came with my 2016 Lexus RX F-sports. After about a month, I decided I want to put aftermarket wheels with wider tire. I liked Michelin Premier LTX so much that I went with same tire, but wider. I'm very happy with handling on wet or dry. And it's very smooth and quiet ride.

Good until prematurely worn out

Other than road noise, was happy with these tires while they lasted. Unfortunately they only lasted 30,000 miles. I kept after the pressure, rotated every 5,000 miles, and the vehicle is aligned. They wore even. The ones recently rotated to the rear are at 2/32 and the fronts are at 3/32. Now to see how much credit I get on the prorated warranty.

JeffsMDX, sorry to hear your Premier LTX tires need to be replaced at 30k. You should receive credit based on the mileage received. Your retailer is authorized to handle the warranty claim. Feel free to give us a call at 866-866-6605 if there is a question.

Replacement at 32k miles??

I have a 2018 Grand Cherokee purchased brand new and directly from the dealership. Car has 32,000 miles and I'm already needing new tires - Michelin Premier LTX 265/60R18. I don't usually write reviews but I've found this thread to be very helpful and thought I should share my experience. It makes no sense needing new tires at 32,000 miles when the normal mileage warranty is 60k. No, I'm not an aggressive driver, half of my commute is highway, and no, no mountainous driving. I'm already in touch with customer care, hope this issue is solved soon and all 4 tires are replaced at no cost

New off the lot and tires shot before 20,000 mi.

I had the tires rotated and still had my tires wear out at 20,000 mi. It was such a surprise when we happened to check on them after being locked down for a year, only to find out that the tires were shot! 0 tread at 23,000 miles. We had not even thought to look at the tires because it had never even crossed our mind. Very poor, I cannot believe the guys that rotated them did not mention it! Upset with Michelin and with Chevrolet! I am very very disappointed with the tires and the care!

Poor tread life

We have a 2020 Equinox with Michelin Premier LTX tires. The car has 16,700 miles on it. We are in our late 60's. We don't drive hard. I have kept the air pressure correct and rotated them faithfully. The 2rear tires are at 3/32 and the two fronts are at 3/32. That is terrible tire wear. The tread is even across and no uneven tire wear. We are very disappointed with these tires.

Bad tread life

Very disappointed with tread life. These were OEM when I bought the car and I got 32,000 on them replaced with a new set from an authorized dealer. Got 20,000 on them. I only drive 5,000 miles/year now that I'm retired. I keep tires balanced, rotated and inflated properly. I'm on a fixed income, so new tires so soon are not something I want. They made an adjustment, but still.........

Much quieter than the OEM tire

My 2014 Ford Escape inherently transmits a lot of road noise to the interior. Here in Florida, with its coarse roads, the road rumble and irregular surface made it difficult to hear the radio. I ditched the OEM equipped Continentals before their time. The Michelins are still a little noisy on coarse surfaces but are quiet on smooth surfaces. The handling improved because the Continentals tended to wander, like on black ice. I was in a few heavy rains and the handling was very stable.

Poor Tire Tread Life

These tires came on my 2020 GMC Acadia and I have maintained accurate tire pressure and rotations since June of 2020. I just took in and had my 15000 mile service performed with 15734 mikes and the tread depth on the tires are at 5/32”. Do not waste your hard earned money on these tires.

Chunks are coming off the tread of my tires!

Like the review with the photos, my tires have suddenly started doing the same exact thing! My vehicle has 32,000 miles on it (2019 Cadillac XT5) and chunks of rubber are now missing from the tread of my tires, and the rubber is cracking and peeling off just like the images the previous reviewer posted. I would not recommend this tire, at all.

Worn out at 2.5 yr/40K mi

OEM tires on 2018 Lexus RX 450hL expecting close to 60K mi wear. Only 2-1/2 years and 40K mi and told by dealership new tires needed. At 30K tread at 5/32, but now at 40K tread at 3/32. Probably be at 2/32 by the time I figure out a good replacement. Disappointed is putting it mildly!
