Terrible wear

These tires came as original equipment on my Cadillac XT5 and after around 30,000 miles, the front tires are chipping, and the tread is very low. Certainly not what I expect from a 60,000-mile tire. I have had regular service from the Cadillac dealership where I purchased the car.

Terrible tread life

These were OEM on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. With easy driving the tires needed replacing at 18,000 miles. In the last 40 years I have never had tires wear out this fast! The tires have UTQG treadwear rating of 620 and I should have got at least 40,000 on these tires. Something isn't right with the UTQG rating on this tire as these tires wore more like a UTQG rating of 300. This is unfortunate as the other characteristics of the tire is very good.

Disappointed

These tires came standard on my 2019 Buick Envision. I currently have 28,150 miles on my car and the dealership is stating tires need to be replaced. These tires didn't even reach half the stated tread life. I would recommend looking for a different tire than Michelin Premier LTX. Very dissatisfied.

WORST TIRE I'VE EVER OWNED - TERRIBLE ON ICE AND SNOW

These tires came on my wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee. With the pandemic and working from home, I can't speak to the tire life. I will state that they are quiet and grip well on drive pavement. They are okay on wet pavement. And, unfortunately, they are TERRIBLE in snow and icy conditions. I bought winter tires for her Jeep. Night and day difference when driving in winter. I don't recommend them.

MATT, Thanks for taking the time to submit a review. We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the Premier LTX in snow and icy conditions, however all-season tires do have limitations when driving in winter conditions, and winter tires are necessary.

Worst Michelin Performance ever

I have had Michelin tires on my vehicles for over 30 years and been completely satisfied with their performance. In April '16 I put the 2nd set of Michelin on my 2010 Lexus RX 350. Was advised to put Premier LTX on. Have been nothing but disappointments since. Had tires installed and balanced and bounced all away home. Had tires re-balanced twice after installation to no prevail. Due to Michelin 30 day satisfaction guarantee I was able to get a second set but again to no prevail. Bounced all away home. Finally took vehicle to Lexus car dealership and had them Road Force Balanced. Never have had to do such to just be able to drive.

Great ride but POOR tread life!

These tires came factory installed on my 2020 Buic Envision. I just purchased the car as it was a lease. After the full inspection of the car at the dealer, the ONLY thing that they found was the the car need new tires. At only 32K miles this is almost HALF of the TREAD WARRANTY (60,000 miles).

Smooth and Quiet

01/16/2016: I immediately felt and heard the noticeably improved difference with this new set of four Michelin Premier LTX tires on my 2006 Acura MDX (SUV). These replaced a set of 4 Michelin Cross Terrain tires purchased in 2011 accumulating 50,500+ miles due for replacement in about 6-months, but I wanted to get new/fresh-tread all-season tires for greater peace of mind this winter. You will notice their smotth "cushioned" feel and much reduced road noise right away. I trust that the other desired chracteristics of improved driving/control in snow and wet winter conditions will be equally apparent, thus my projected 5/5 S & TP ratings.

Poor tread life not as advertised!! Very disappointed.

Poor tread life not as advertised!! Very disappointed. 2019 GMC Acadia has these tires came on the vehicle and are advertised to be 60,000 tires 6 years. Have had vehicle since May of 2019 I now have 29,000 miles on the vehicle and my tires are bald! Had one blow out last week and had to replace it of course. A tire should not be wore out and still be anywhere close to factory warranty.. Thought Michelin was still a good name.

Poor treadwear longevity

OEM tire on a 2017 GMC Acadia. At 30,000 miles tread measures 3/32" on all tires with even wear pattern. Followed manufacturer recommendations for maintenance, pressure and rotation. Giving an extra star for noise and comfort and general performance, but the longevity is disappointing for a 60,000 tire and is deserving of the minimum rating.

Replaced after only 17,000 miles

Initially loved these tires. Quiet and comfortable ride. I was surprised when my dealer recommended replacement during routine oil change. Had a cut in one of the tires so knew I had to replace that one. I know it is best to replace tires as a set. my tire dealer also said the tires are worn and replacing just one would make a noticeable difference. So I replaced all four tires. Here is the problem...they had only 17,000 miles on them. I drive only 5 miles round trip to work each day and put less than 10,000 miles on my vehicle per year. I consider myself a normal driver so imagine my disappointment having to replace a $800+ set of Michelins after only 17,000 miles. The tire dealer spoke of how soft the rubber was on this particular tire. I don't know how they could possibly last 60,000 miles. I have owned Michelins before and were happy with them. I will likely step away from Michelin as any company who would mis-state the durability of a product to this degree makes me nervous to use any of their products.
