Tiny,  reconstituted  'freeze dried' fiberous purple colored edible decorations.
Mostly tasteless fiber with finger staining  food coloring.

These are soooooo tasty.  Use in smoothies and in my homemade dog food.    Great price here too!

These are the small, lowbush blueberries. Absolutely perfect for baking. Love these berries for muffins and i try to keep a stash in my freezer. I get so sad when my local Walmart is sold out... which happens a lot. I believe people are using them often for smoothies and such.

Let me start with these are small wild blueberries so don't expect a plump juicy appearance. Sadly, there is zero taste to these. I dumped almost a cup into a smoothie and would not have known other than the color change. I decided to try a few and definitely lacking any flavor. I almost returned but decided to give them to my doggo.

Check the bags of GV blueberries to see how most of them are imported from other countries. Also, if you are really health conscious you should be aware that the smaller wild berry version has been tested to have the most antioxidants... AND the vitamin content is 25% more when you thaw these in the microwave instead of on the counter! The skins of wild berries are tougher but that means more fiber and sometimes the firmer texture vs. mushy is very desirable.
This product is worth the premium price. The bags are better quality too.
