It's so unfortunate that the reviews for this great lil' guy suffered so horribly from a bunch of angry people posting about their missing USB cords. Honestly, are they angry at the printer? Seems as though they're ranting and yelling with no plot line, cause they're angry at themselves. I'd be angry at myself too if I didn't have to basic logical ability necessary to pick up the phone and handle the missing USB cord with either the Brother company itself, or the Best Buy store or online chat options! Why in Gods name would you run out and order or purchase the missing USB cord yourself, AND come write grammatically inept reviews about the missing USB cord? In that time, you could've requested a replacement cord from Best Buy, or telephoned the Brother Corp for a replacement cord, or both, and eaten lunch while day dreaming about all the beautiful black and white pages this baby is gonna print for you when you get your cord! Seriously, this prints accurately, swiftly, and quietly. Brother never disappoints, and it's so nice to have the option for a more basic option to fill the void in the market for a fantastic, monochrome, compact laser printer. For the price point, you absolutely will not find anything with better performance and functionality. Even in the next tier up, if I was willing to some $75-100 more, I'd still land on this one! Hope everyone had as good as an experience as I did! Oh, and p.s., mine came without a USB cord.

I bought this laser jet printer to replace my bulky 4-in-1 printer which was always running out of one of the ink cartridges. Even if I only wanted to print in black, my previous printer would not allow me to do so if one of the color cartridges was out of ink. Very annoying. It also took ages and went through all sorts of shaking and dancing before it would print, if all of the ink cartridges were in order - otherwise I would have to wait to replace the empty cartridge. Very annoying. I love this simple quick and efficient printer.

Very easy to set up. I am able to print effortlessly from all my IOS devices. Two sided printing save paper. I also like the number of papers printed I get from a drum vice cartridges. I have purchased a couple of these for family members already. Great product.

I ordered this when we began working from home due to COVID-19. Didn't need anything special other than two-sided printing. This is much faster and quieter than I imagined for the price. So happy I didn't waste money on a more expensive model when this more than exceeds my expectations.

I love the speed and quality of this affordable laser printer for home office. A few minor glitches like it doesn't pick-up the paper in the tray once in a while. Easy to fix, just open the tray and close again. Overall, a perfect printer if you need something that can print out a few copies of a short presentation or one-pagers. Great price/ feature value!

I couldn't install Brother software on my Mac mini OS 11.4. The printer is useless now
