I have been buying this dog food for a while for my Chesapeake Bay Retrievers and they love it. It keeps their coats good and keeps them healthy. I even but the puppy food for my puppies too. I have 4 dogs the mom is german shepherd and the 3 pups are mix german shepherd/black lab. I buy the 46 lb bag plus the xtra 4 lbs as a bonus. It has been so helpful to buy quantity as well as quality in a dog food. My dogs LOVE IT especially when I open a new, fresh bag!

I wanted to try this because we recently added another Dog to our already 2 Dogs so now are a Happy 3. I thought they were going to give me a hard time because I had tried another brand and they wouldn't eat it BUT they LOVED Purina Dog Chow and now this is all I buy....Thank you..would love some coupons :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have fed dog chow to our dogs for years. Like men's and women's razors, I think the high price food is more of a scam than a necessity for dogs. Once we have weaned our puppies off of puppy chow, Dog Chow its been, we have tried samples of other foods and always go back to dog chow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Saint Bernards are loyal Purina Dog Chow eaters. I have tried the "pricey" other brands of dog food and my Saints would not eat them. They will only eat Purina Dog Chow and clean their bowls within 3 minutes and beg for more. I breed Saint Bernards and the pups eat puppy chow and I recommend Purina products to all of my clients.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are a home for rescued dogs and cats. After trying multi brands trying to be economical with our group, they are quite selective. This is the choice of the group, they know when it comes in the door and are quite pleased.

I start all my dogs on Purina Puppy food and then they start on Purina Dog Chow. I have never had a dog refuse to eat it. All 12 of my dogs love it. I also appreciate that it is made in the United States. I have never had a single complaint about the food. I love the ease of feeding it.

I have had a male Lab who ate this all his life until he died at 15 years old. Always ate it. My 6 year old female lab also eats it, loves it and is very healthy. We had 2 litters of puppies and fed puppy chow and they loves it. I also have a 1.5 year old German Shepherd and I was told to give him the expensive no grain food because of their sensitive stomachs and it controls their bowels. We tried 3 different once in the first year to figure out which one he liked, but very expensive. I took him to vet when he was one, the vet said I can give him whatever I want, so I switched him to Dog Chow and he loves it, eats right away and his bowels looks the same as before. He is a happy dog, eats what he needs and he looks great, not overweight. This food has worked great for all my three dogs and obviously it proves it is good food since my lab lived until 15 years of age. I love it and the price is right. Can't go wrong. I might try the all natural at one point.

We have 9 adult dogs, ranging from 10 pounds to 140 pounds. All are rescued. All of them love Purina Dog Chow , thank you for the reasonable price, with all the vet bills and medications it gets expensive. My husband and I joke that sometimes our dogs and cats eat better than we do! Our cats eat Purina Indoor Cat Chow!
