A few years ago several dog food companies had a major recall I was so happy to find that Purina was still on the shelves. I now recommend this product to most of the pet owner's I know. Ever since she has been eating it and April our fur baby could not be any happier. In a new happy home with such great food to keep her going and healthy.

We adopted our Boxer/Dane mix when he was ten weeks old. He came with a big bag of Purina Puppy Chow. Now eight years later he's still eating Purina Dogchow and is as healthy as a young dog. The last time he was at the vet for a check up, the vet couldn't believe that he is actually eight years old. We've always fed him Purina and will continue to do so for the rest of his life. He loves Purina and we do too.

Now as an adult I remember my daddy's lessons well. Though my dog of choice is Great Pyrenees, for over 25 years, I myself, only feed Purina Dog Chow. Provides a good healthy coat along with energy.

I have to younger dogs who went from Puppy Chow to Dog Chow and they love it. My youngest made his own decision to switch when my daughter left out a bowl of Dog Chow he tried it and did not want to eat Puppy Chow anymore lol All in all we love Purina brand pet food.

I believe dry kibble is better for a dog's teeth. I have had many dogs in my life because I take in strays and hand-me-downs and most of them have lived to an older age than the breed/breeds they were; all have been fed Purina Dog Chow. I like the idea of it now being available in chicken as a healthier form of meat.
