[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are a home for rescued dogs and cats. After trying multi brands trying to be economical with our group, they are quite selective. This is the choice of the group, they know when it comes in the door and are quite pleased.

We have fed our dogs this product for many years. Recently, Purina changed the composition of the chow, and our dog spits out the little cylindrical pieces all over the house. She hates the new formula. I had an 8 month old bag which was lying around, and it doesn't have the cylinders. She loves this food. I am assuming I can't get the old formula any more, and I am going to have to change what we give her. Please get rid of the cylindrical pieces

Over 10 years ago I switched to Purina Dog Chow and they love it and will not eat anything else. They now are eating the Complete Adult. I have to watch my one year old dog because I had him eating the puppy chow and he would rather eat the complete adult which he does now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have four dogs and this is the only dog food I have found that all of them eat well and it is made in the United States. It is high quality, very nutritional and apparently my dogs love it, as they eat it like it's candy.

I received my first puppy in december of 2008. From day one she has been on this food. I tried switching once as she eats grass more than any dog I know...atleast I thought. I tried to switch to many other brands to help her and it just went south. She got diarrhea and kept throwing up everything plus she lost her spunk! I went back to this brand and she's back to normal. Her grass eating habit is because she likes it not because of a upset stomach. Weird I know but I would recommend this dog food to everyone!

Bosco is a Bouvier Des Flandres and has be eating Purina for 9 yrs. Starting with Puppy Chow for large breeds. He has never been sick a day in his life. He has a good energy level and beautiful healthy coat. When people ask what I feed him, I tell them he is a Purina Dog Chow Dog!!!!!

I have had a male Lab who ate this all his life until he died at 15 years old. Always ate it. My 6 year old female lab also eats it, loves it and is very healthy. We had 2 litters of puppies and fed puppy chow and they loves it. I also have a 1.5 year old German Shepherd and I was told to give him the expensive no grain food because of their sensitive stomachs and it controls their bowels. We tried 3 different once in the first year to figure out which one he liked, but very expensive. I took him to vet when he was one, the vet said I can give him whatever I want, so I switched him to Dog Chow and he loves it, eats right away and his bowels looks the same as before. He is a happy dog, eats what he needs and he looks great, not overweight. This food has worked great for all my three dogs and obviously it proves it is good food since my lab lived until 15 years of age. I love it and the price is right. Can't go wrong. I might try the all natural at one point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this product plus puppy chow for both of the dogs we have had and they have been happy and healthy. We started using these products with our first cocker spaniel in 1990 and continued with our second dog.

I have been buying Purina Dog and Puppy Chow for 30 years. My dogs and puppies really love the dog and puppy food. The price is reasonable and allows me to give my dogs a better quality of food, instead of the generic foods that are out there. I have had dogs for over 30 years and I currently have 25 dogs of my own. Purina products keep my dogs in top condition and they love it.
